Codeine bungs you up, you need to eat plenty of fruit to compensate and keep regular.

Classic car like a 2CV or Morris Minor may allow them to get a lower premium to build up their no claims. Join the owners club, etc.

Ferry to St Malo or Cherbourg rather than drive such a long way?
We have been to various places, camping and cycling in Dol de Bretagne and camping and in a static near St Malo. Cancale nearby has oyster beds and ace sea food cafes.
The Dol site can be a bit English, the chateau has a cricket pitch!
Granville has a lovely stretch of beaches to the south.

The CityLink demise highlights the need for bricks and mortar for “Click and Collect” offerings for some businesses. Critical mass of an Evans I guess needed for cycling.

Interesting that in Germany they are unsuitable for the road. Too bright?

A light dusting of soft snow here in Sheffield. Some sort of issue for cars on the Parkway meant overspill on other routes. Low sun and route adaptation seemed to make the drivers a bit dozy.
Got a “my bad” from a Land Rover Defender driver for his silly pull out on me, spent the rest of the journey mulling over the legal binding nature of my bad versus sorry. [Defenders have electric windows!]

We have some spare mice. We can send them as a care package, we’ll be glad to run up a press release about our wee charity helping out the engineering sector in these times of cut backs and financial troubles for…, what was the name of the firm?

Hillsborough? 52 to get up the hill.
Park Hill Flats? May be some short term lets there, flexible. Pond Street’s buses to get you up the hill.
Citybase Apartments have stuff in the West1 block off Devonshire Green.

Fast repair/tube swap too. In this weather.
I too took the car, a combination of Friday’s way home being too soon to have been forgotten and poorly partner.
Friday evening’s ride was half done on the pavement as a straight line on the road was not possible.

Nice on the way in to work. Once again the very nice drivers stayed behind me before turning left. Traffic volume picking up from the start of the week.
Not too sure about the return, could get a first soaking of 2015.
Wind picking up too.

It is my brother’s birthday, no surprise he’s called Michael!

Spoiler(?). Laughed out loud when Dog shifted to his master’s expectations in the second episode.
Welled up at the end of the Radio Times piece, still creating but the material world is ebbing away, “We must dig in and get through to tea. And we must play on.”

Wind in my face all the way home last night and then all the way to work this chuffin’ morning. Will it ever stop blowing!

Tried daily disposables for a while, they were ok. I liked the extra vision but not sure about the poking and broddling about to get them out, but that may be my fat fingers.
If out in muck your wide open eyes may pick up dirt and get a bit of extra silt in the corner of your eye. I ended up wearing Optilab prescription specs. I wear the contacts at the beach on occasion hardly ever elsewhere.

I think the reviews in PCPro and The Register all say that the 4 Gb one is a bit underpowered, and the 2014 version has the RAM soldered in so no opportunity to cheaply boost that. Next one up with the extra RAM, probably your best option if committed to Apple software. Gazillion Windows machines to choose from otherwise.

First option is probably the only one. The bottom panel ought to be toughened glass so wouldn’t like being cut.
You can get flaps tuned to the chip in the cat/dog so it only lets in yours.

We had our Skoda value upped through the good work of my wife: it was a Pacific version so limited edition, it had low milage, a new gearbox, the bills from the last few years services, similar models for sale for much more than their initial offer. Lots of documents to prove her valuation.

Hope your other injuries are not as bad as you first feel and you can get out on a bicycle.

Four members of staff here, two of us bought our bikes with the company CC and the cost was deducted from our salaries over the year. Simple.
Season ticket loan would operate the same.

HS3 likely to claim back the Woodhead tunnels for high capacity train line into Sheffield Victoria.

In Sheffield, Ms TPT uses a plastic jar, such as for Sainsbury’s low fat hot chocolate, and when it is full it goes in the bin. All waste gets burnt in the city.
She’s been injecting for some 20+ years and uses needles and bayonets more than once so we probably fill one over four months.

Each pane of glass weighs 1200 lb

Laminated, toughened and extra thick panes. Expensive to replace. But not expecting things being dropped on it or someone in stilettos to walk on it seems a bit short sighted.

Would the residents need to be dropped off in a minibus/taxi close to their home? With mobility problems it could mean a vehicle blocking the road while they make their way to the house. A clear spot makes everything run easier.
Support/care workers are probably better paid doing their job rather than spending their time looking for a parking spot and finding one two streets away. Though some may look like the walk would do them good.

PS May I be the first to blame Thatcher and her dogma of “everyone should have a car and I am going to make sure of that by screwing up public transport.”

I recently sent some See.Sense lights back for their upgrade, the Post Office were much more diligent in their questions but allowed the lithium ion batteries through. Integral batteries.

Radiator on a skip when I took the dog for her walk on Thursday morning, radiator gone when we went past same skip on Thursday evening. Leave it out and they will come.
Not sure how well the skip hire folk do with the remaining stuff to dispose?

Glass, without it you’d need to invent it.

Lots of clever glass stuff: David Payne at Southampton discovered that adding the tiniest amount of europium ions to silica fibres provides just the right amount of amplification between the absorption bands by OH ions to enable much much longer optical fibre cables. Thus speeding up the internet and challenging STW to add more hamsters to the server.
