Have you got a calibrated screen? Could be pot luck.
The page source says: span style="color: #33cccc;">closing date</span
    Googling gives this:

Reports of the two deaths and subsequent editorial teeth gnashing seem to focus on the one drug when it seems "Withnail and I" were too drunk/high to tell what they had taken. It may have been BabyBio or cat litter.

A friend diagnosed with type 2 a couple of years ago has changed nothing about his diet but has gone for a one hour walk every evening ever since. He's a veggie so not much issue with input, just did as the Dr asked and moved more.

Ms TPT is Type I, she has 40 g of porridge oats in a morning and has similarly had hunger/lows/hypos about 10.30 or 11.
Wonders if her ratios are correct and all sorts. Currently she is taking a packet of oatcakes as top up before it happens.
It may be you have to cut a unit of the correction? See how you feel. Stuff isn't always linear in my experience with her responses to food and how quickly carb is absorbed.
    Just one of those things?
Has everything settled down since diagnosis for you?

The BBC provides an advertising free environment, while R1 is out of my area of interest my daughter has at least got one advertising free place to listen. She's been bombarded by enough advertising in her 15 years without Murdoch levering some new intrusion.

BUT with the rise of Spotify and other web based music delivery things would 1Extra or Six Music or other niches have their position undermined? The listeners to these stations are usually the early adopters of this sort of thing – that's why they have digital radios in the first place. Maybe they have reached their point of infection and the rate of uptake is going negative.

Ms TPT's experience slipped disc experience: Core physio exercises, hydrotherapy at the local NHS hospital, diclofenac at night, good chair for work, back support in the car, called a "Back Friend". Took ages for a proper diagnosis though so you are ahead of her.
    Keep moving.

There is a sports physio at Grenoside 0114 2400677. Works at different places but Ms TPT seeing him tonight at the Grenoside Surgery.
    Good chap.

    Here's a good passage:

It was my first week at sea and as we steamed back to Scotland, I felt strongly that the war which seemed at one time to be so artificial, had come to me with a vengeance. First with the sequence of blitzes and then the naval action – I wondered what was coming next. The action was very self-revealing. I suppose that most of us suffered a mixture of apprehension and excitement whilst the situation was developing. When the action actually started everything became so hectic and noisy there seemed to be no time to register any emotion. It is strange after all this time that much of this has softened to the degree that the really strong memory which remains is that of the compressive effect of the big guns. The smaller six inch and four point seven inch guns gave a very sharp crack but the big sixteen inch guns produced a thunderous noise which was much lower in pitch but somehow had the effect of making one feel that the ears were being pressed a couple of inches towards each other before bouncing back again.

I have an account by someone on the Rodney if that is any good. I could mail you a PDF of his navy chapter.

Berberis, probably best for growth and coverage.
Would old chain rings be of any use? Lining the edge of your shed roof. Decorative but sharp enough to be a deterrent?

I guess EBC are growing at a steady rate, and they must have done their market survey, Manchester and Leeds shops are established, Sheffield the next city south.
Sheffield now has Decathlon, CCC, JE James, Halfords, Butterworths and EBC within a mile of each other!

DAFNE – an acronym you may become familiar with.
My Type 1 wife manages carb input with insulin correction.
Plenty of exercise will contribute greatly to your well being. A further excuse to go out and ride.

Some in Staples too, FWIW. None more than 50 quid when I was looking for a Xmas present.

Its four months between blood donation appointments but I think the fluid lost is replaced within 24 hours – and that's a whole pint! A bit longer for red blood cells to recover.
Have a couple of pints of Guinness the night before?

Make sure they know when they take the blood that you need plenty of recovery time and a cup of tea. Don't let them whisk you out.

Training? What graphics software you familiar with. Get your Adobe Certified trainer/expert type thing if its P/shop or Illustrator or whatever. Technical support on similar lines poss, working as a cog in the big corporate machine.

Here in valley bottom Sheffield its raining, but more white stuff arrived at altitude.
I think it may clear by the weekend, the "edge of doom" forecasts don't seem to be coming true.

    Sauna at the Harrogate Spa?
Or maybe after the quad biking to ease out the muscles that haven't worked.

Enjoy the freewheeling time you have. Pottering, tweaking and browsing fills time. Being on here!!!
Think of a book and devise illustrations for it? Or is that too much like work.

I have a Courier Nexus from Edinburgh Bike Co-op for my 15-20 minutes of commute. Poor man's Rohloff, pretty bomb proof frame & smooth tyres.
Are you able to buy something using the cycle to work scheme?

I asked Gillete if they wanted to be associated with a cheat. Here's their reply:
Gillette is aware of the HENRY handball incident in the France v Ireland World Cup qualifier. Thierry Henry has publicly acknowledged that it was a handball. It is not our place to comment on the refereeing in the match. This incident does not affect his relationship with us.

    Good news.
Remember Type 1 can get you any time and is not related to weight, says my wife. 🙂
Lymes? It's not some recurring thing like being bitten by a redback spider is it?

    Sheffield, sorry too far.
Your hospital should have a diabetes centre/clinic with a specialist nurse on duty all the time if you want to address this urgently.
My wife has had type 1 since she was 2, apparently you get a letter from the Queen when you have had it 50 years. Manages her carbs and corrects with fast acting insulin as and when required. Some scary hypos but you get used to it!

I have my wife's spare testing kit. Where are you?
Lloyds Pharmacy have similar testing kits for about a fiver.
Impotence is quite a common issue with diabetes in men, is that a big enough reason to see the GP? 😯

My wife suffered a prolapsed disc lower down her spine but has not had surgery. Never mind surgery at such short notice.
    Physio and pain management.
If its any help, amytriptylene (sp) on a night helped greatly with the pain/muscle spasm to such an extent that she is thankfully off the codeine based pain killers most of the time.

Dekerf: sounds long and drawn out, I hope you get a result soon.

I feel lucky, grazes mostly healed, elbow movement nearly back to normal, bike should be ready early next week. Waiting on the helmet replacement to arrive from Met.

Looks like I’ll need a proper receipt from Butterworth’s for the repair!

I’m only looking to cover the damage, bent wheel and specs, nothing a doctor needs to write about I don’t think.

I got a Courier Nexus from Edinburgh Bike Coop through our scheme. Hub gears, slick tyres, but V-brakes. Discs may make it more of a target? Remember to include locks and mud guards and lights in your scheme budget.

C, unless experience and conditions allow adaptation.
But on 8 May I did C and the car started its U turn as I was level with the wing mirror. Led to me flying over the bonnet, a broken helmet, buckled back wheel and a trip in the ambulance. Gravel rash and a crack in the radius at the elbow.
Waiting on the replacement helmet then I can test my nerve.

It’s a relief for Huddersfield Town.
It was looking like Third Division South! There are so many away trips down the M1, can’t be good for the environment.

Passed a dawdling A4 driver on the inside as he was driving north between J34 and 34A of the M1 at about 1745, a couple of weeks ago. He was texting, but doing it safely because he had slowed down to increase the braking distance with the car in front. The middle lane had no option but to undertake he was going so slow.

Think there were some 22″ screens with digital tuners on the Amazon weekly deals section. Seemed a good price if you don’t mind shrinking.
