Is it me or was there some sort of Olympic thing going on next year that could have been included in the calendar?

    Looks similar…

How big is the company and how many people are you managing?
What’s wrong with working on the shopfloor?
Was being promoted to manager a reward for good work and track record that the company can sustain?

We all muck in here in our workplace of four people. But there are only four of us.

Hey Grantway, and other dyslexia sufferers, how do you cope with graphic novels? Do the pictures help or hinder.

Carcassonne is a good game, there are expansion packs to spice things up too. A good two or three hours with four or so people.

Bjork was good value, her choir looked like they were having fun but how do you finance such a big ensemble? Is she Iceland’s largest employer at the moment?

Bother, MCFC! You can only join our team IF you don’t mention the 10-1 against HTFC.

Poor Sancho, must have had a poor user experience.
There is an Odeon cinema next door, and two theatres over the road, I think the Crucible theatre has a nice cafe, Ms TPT was on a table next to Richard Wilson at lunch a couple of weeks ago.
Hell of a wait while young ones at the gig venue though.
I’d catch a film, the Showroom isn’t far from there either.
Car parking close by (below), there may be some concession/discount from the O2 with the NCP?
There is a Star Wars quiz on at the Showroom next week, if on the same day you can join our team.

Jim, and his minders, passed me during the Newport Half Marathon some years ago, serious shoulder roll style of running.
The Grauniad website mentioned he would be buried with his coffin at 45 degrees so he could see the sea! You can imagine the opportunity for comedy in getting the coffin the right way round and how deep it would have to be at the feet end, 😀

    Context, second.
    Past history, track record, third.

Train from a well served airport.
I went to Saarbrucken this year, plane to Paris CdG, TGV to Saar, Aachen on the same route from Gare l’Est, a small stumble from Gare du Nord and Eurostar.
Aachen well served by fast trains.

Sorry no direct help but I have recently been updating some old PageMaker files to get PDFs off of them. Had to reset the target printer PPD which changed the layout and mucked up some embedded images, eps mostly from MathType equations. The layout changed too so kerning was out and all sorts.
Does Quark have the same “Target printer” dialog in the document set up settings? If the printer driver has updated this may help/hinder!

The failure of a company called MF something yesterday, a hedge fund/financial creative instrument inventor/trader was probably good news for the Euro governments as it shows that messing about on the speculative edges of currency trading can lead to extinction.
May possibly take the wilder edge off the turbulence and give Euro land time to grow. Good for us.
Hot air talk on infrastructure is just that.

I think you are well within the “mourning” period over the loss of your bike and all wee in shoes and own with bombers thoughts are acceptable.
Did you show the fence the ice axe? Would have been interesting to have a heart monitor or bladder tensometer on the fellow.

Wet, well damp really, and not that cold here in Sheffield. Base layer below waterproof jacket and Buff, baggies over shorts. It’s almost like the decision to turn on the central heating: when to put on longer/warmer kit.

Why have the distraction of the media files disk taking up processor time? For the price of the SSD, couldn’t you get something to hold the media files independent of your PC.

MTFU – no problems with modern soft lenses. I have daily disposables, got them off the internet, as said astygmatism may not be corrected at the price point you want to enter at but still do alright. I hardly use them though, 3D films. Rather wear specs.
Had one roll back behind the eyeball when trying to remove, irritating but not the end of the world, managed to get to sleep and by the morning it had worked it’s way around to the front.

    Guilty.

    Won’t get off.

Victim’s family get to suffer more as next appeal gets lined up.

It would be nice if the Knox family members would express their regret that their daughter’s room mate died every so often.

After being hit by a car it took me some time to get the right time-line back, whether it was the shock/bump or me cutting and pasting in other close things as ways of explaining what happened.
It comes back in time, with help from friends.
Get well soon and on your bike when you are ready.

I have a mother in law there, nice place. Palmer’s Ales, the sea, seafood cafe at West Bay, the cafe on Burton Bradstock beach all get ticks.
House prices may be an obstacle. Trouble is they’d be more expensive the closer you got to mainline railway town like Dorchester, Crewkerne has a station but is not a busy town for my measure of busy-ness. A35 gives a speedy commute from Dorch to Bridport though, 14 miles-ish so road bike-able.

I am cycling 11 miles in Sheffield each way. Though my route is longer to skirt the bigger hills. Running an Edinburgh Bike Co-op Courier Nexus with mud guards and pannier rack, got it mail order before their store opened in Sheffield.
I have five day’s worth of cycle gear so don’t have to live in the smell two days in a row.
Planet X/On-One out near Magna have some nice bikes worth considering.
Don’t get anything too flash if parking up near the university, many bikes over the years have been “tested” in that area, luckily a big lock puts off the passing thief. Bike never attractive enough for a pro.

Scares the life out of me being a pedestrian in Holland when we were there in the summer. Bikes going in both directions on the cycle lanes on both sides of the roads. THEN the chuffin’ mopeds and scooters that go on them too.

Anyway, my point to reduce casualties on the roads is to take all incidents as seriously as the airlines do: Road Accidents Investigation Bureau like the AAIB. A report with serious clout with a fine if someone is negligent and recommendations that have to be adhered to, including updates for all drivers.
Not sustainable economically, but maybe the fine levied on the overturned lorry on the M25 and the disruption it causes ought to be related to the loss of GDP the congestion causes. That’ll larn em.

If I didn’t have a daughter to see through University, then parents reaching difficult ages, then, probably, grandchildren, etc. Wife and I would do the VSO route and be somewhere where you could make a difference and see the results. Either that or attend a few Chocolate Academy courses.
Marine biology architectural technician with a refridgeration specialism and ice cream side line. Not sure how well goat’s milk makes ice cream.
Low energy cooling for the third world essential for expanding ice cream market and preserving chocolate, good for vaccines too.
