I’ve met one of these in Edinburgh. I think they will stare at whatever light you have trying to be dazzled.

And check you only collect personal data that you legally need or have the right permission for.

Depends where you are now on your data governance/protection journey and what your company does. ICO should be the first port of call.

THIS article isn’t too bad for small companies.

Usually when people ask this question they’re talking technical changes so the above and cyber essentials are great for a small company.

Depending on hat you do you will need to write some policies.

Speaking of which crowdfunding link For clarity I’m not involved with either project but I’m looking forward to both.

Coupled with the proposed Tarland Trails 2 we’re going to have a wealth of year round trails. Exciting times.

I used to fly a fair bit. I think an hour beforehand is perfect and that even works in the big airports. I also think you won’t miss a flight if you get there 45 minutes early but you have to keep moving and ignore any shops etc.

I didn’t find bob an issue, I think Orange are getting on top of it with the latest incarnation. It was a combination of the weight and rolling resistance that made it an okay climber but not an improvement on the 26″ wheels. Hence my question about improving the wheels if funds allow.

I tend to put a bottle in the backpack or use a bladder for the longer rides even though I have the option of a bottle cage at the minute. I guess it depoends if your usual riding is putting on a t-shirt and going for a blast or it’s longer rides with the usual spares?

I would love a stage 4 or 5 but the budget doesn’t stretch at the minute. If anybody has a job going in Aberdeenshire let me know…

Good to hear people aren’t too put off by its climbing ability.

We have fibre in Aboyne and it perhaps heads further up Deeside. I know it’s a bit East of where your looking but it does exist. The Highlands and Islands know its their best chance of long-term sustainability (jobs wise) so its an improving situation.

Scotroutes is right, Scotland is way ahead. England should be ashamed on this one.

My Hiscox insurance covered a minimal amount for a month while I recovered from removing a ligament from my thumb. Couldn’t drive so couldn’t attend sites which was the bulk of my work.

In its 27.5 + version is runs 130mm I think and the bike I tested was running 130mm and 29er wheels.

I’m about to pull the trigger too. I tested a few bikes and then did a few Cairngorm miles on a couple and, for me, it just feels right.

Wzzz – Do you agree with the current values of the UK?

I would take the opportunity, indeed I have recently used a similar link to change careers and perhaps even have the option of retiring one day. While I haven’t had to move I can assure you that six months in the reduced stress of making ends meet is life changing and like you I was the jack of all trades and master of none but that is starting to change.

If my wife had her way we’d move overseas but so far the right opportunity hasn’t presented itself.

I know “somebody” who’s done this recently. Switched it off as it started to judder. Flushed out and a new fuel filter fitted and all seems to be fine a couple of thousand miles later. The biggest problem is the filter disintegrating and hitting the injectors apparently.

I’ve never had them but i know a few who do. It seems that stress, tiredness and certain foods and drinks are triggers. I would be inclined to be more sympathetic if the person in question takes measures to address the above and if not encourage them to take action of they are always stressed/tired/unhealthy and point out that they could have a go as what’s the worst that could happen…

With regards to the law etc. I have no idea.

I’ve tried a few of those and I’m hoping to go Large Tallboy (I’m the same height). It’s a touch more expensive than some but it just feels right and post purchase care seems excellent.

Enjoy it and make sure you get the family out for a weekend or two as suggested above, you never know they might enjoy it. I don’t think my brother is coming back unless he absolutely has to.

Great title and pictures. I still haven’t made it there, i figure the kids will be old enough for that sort of low level adventure before long.

Great to see some love for the Whyte, its at the top of my shopping list. I’m trying one in the next week or two and expecting it to be a little different to my nine year old soul….

tjagain, you’ve got to be factually correct or you’ll appear like a fanatic and no one will be swayed by your arguments. As I understand it one member could veto Scotland’s addition to Europe and at least one member has already said not on my watch, back of the line please.

I thought even the SNP has acknowledged this by softening their (probable manifesto promise) to we’ll join the EFTA.

The polls show there has been movement when there is mention of a hard Brexit in the press but when things are a little quieter then its about the same as 2014.Either the electorate or the pollsters have no idea.

I personally think calling the referendum is a mistake but I’m sure there are plenty who will disagree with me.

It must be moving in the right direction, my wife watched the whole episode rather than finding something else to do. I watch both but my preference is for this and I think the chemistry will come as the episodes progress.

I see black is actually right and that science has answered it, probably. Of course in the modern political world science doesn’t actually matter. It was part of primary school philosophy homework.

Too many old/poor arguments being trotted out here.

    Reviews of many cars here

And for chargers here and I know this is out of date. I can think of anoth three within 10 miles of me not on this map and I’m in the Northern half of Scotland. Many do 100 miles and get 80% of a charge in the time it takes to have a pee abd grab a coffee.

If you’re going to breakdown make it somewhere nice like Tebay, good food, nice views etc. I had to overnight in Knutsford services once due to a knackered alternator. Knustford is many things but enjoyable is not one of them.

    Enjoy the road trip.

I only buy Howies jeans/trousers etc. I sit between sizes for the top half and just look odd in either size. It’s annoying because I often like the look of their jumpers.

Me. My primary 2 team were undefeated at last weekends festival (scores not recorded though) and won their tournament the weekend before. I may just transfer my squad, I think they could do just as good a job, possibly better.

To those of us in Aberdeenshire 20 degrees is tropical..

My wife leads me to believe that the excuse for a half-term up here is a week later than most English holidays.

Thanks for the input. Its something I know nothing about.
