I've got one of these with a dedicated iPod docking station and it's pretty ace,TBH. Can put a USB stick in the front and also have the PC plugged into it.It's not as good as my ARCAM based separates system but, hey, after years of gig/rave/club volume abuse it's certainly more than adequate to my ears!

In terms of speed I have been likened to 'a wombat on smack' – you figure! 😉

My daughter worked on Quadrophenia (backstage) at Leeds Grand Theatre – she reckoned it was a really good production with a good cast and excellent band.

As a NHS, er, professional, I'm well aware of the survival rates, disease processes and treatments. I see patients on a daily basis with haematological (blood) cancers and I thought I was 'immune' to the blind panic/horror of it all………………….but when it happens to you or someone close…………..well, it's a a totally different ball game.
Thanks for your good wishes and let's all support Mark in whatever way we can.

    The very best of wishes.
Until last Thurs I, too, had not had any experience of cancer but then me dear old Mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer – she goes under the knife this Thurs – the numbness is overwhelming but reading this thread has been very calming/soothing/whatever. Hope things pan out positively for you.

    Bargaintastic, methinks.
Ordered the Apex – always carry too much stuff, just in case, like. You never know when you'll need that headset press out on them trails! 😕

Stopped running red lights a few years back after being hunted down like a dog by a roadie!! He proceeded to explain the errors of my ways in a very reasonable and polite way. Made me take notice and I've never run a red light since. I try and do the same with other cyclists – usually newbies – with varying levels of success. Only takes one short tempered mongtard in a 1993 BMW to turn you into hamburger. 😕

I had my commuter done at Jacksons and, yes, it's very nice. Was just wondering if powdercoat is, er, tougher with regards to MTB frame.

I suffer from mild osteo- arthritis of the knees. My GP recommended I start taking glucosamine to help alleviate the pain/wear. Took it for a few months and didn’t notice a massive improvement. After 2 weeks not taking it I was in fookin’ agony and have been on it (with chondroitin) ever since. Good for synovial fluid production and helps keep cartilage, reasonably, intact.

Oh, well, that prompted a bit of debate. I feel I ought to report back after I’ve ridden it. * NB – not fast or, particularly, technically accomplished 😐 *

I’m sick to the back teeth of all the hand wringing, tributes and insights into ‘his life’, already, FFS! I dare say Glasto will be awash (see what I did there?) with badwagon jumpers proclaiming how wunnerful he was, from the Pyramid stage. Have a feeling a certain Mr Young might not be one of ’em, mind.

Ooooh, that looks nice. Dammit, wasn’t going to buy another frame for a while. *tentative* Anyone wanna buy a 20″ 853 Inbred frame, in red?(with decorative chainsuck tattoos). 😉

Gaps aren’t bad, TBH, just figured filling ’em would neaten (is that a word? Neaten – to make neat – I dunno – discuss) ’em up prior to varnishing.

Totally OT – I’ve just had a Crunchie for the first time in years – lovely!

What DezB says.I commute and do a few road miles in a ‘non serious’ stylee – ie. I in no way imagine myself to be Lance as I wheeze my way along (wearing baggies and a peak on my helmet – and , yes, I have got a lot of stick from the roadies……………and no, I don’t care 8) )
