Staight outta Gipton! Actually, wasn't that bad in the 70's. My commute ( from the fringes of Roundhay park, dontcha know!) takes me along Harehills Road, amongst other places,where I've had 3 serious bike-mugging attempts in the last few years – all of which failed. I twatted the last joker with a D-lock which I was taking into work and 'just happened' to have it dangling on the handlebars. 🙂

Did a short, local loop on the way into work this morning – R8 icy. Wonder how bad it'll be on the way home @ 20.00?

Had both seasonal and H1N1 vaccines last week. Felt a bit under the weather/aching joints for about 36-48 hrs. All our staff who may "breathe" on oncology patients were "encouraged" to have both vaccines. Being naturally suspicious, I wonder what directives we may be given re. attendance management of individuals who have been absent from work with a "flu-like illness" over the next few months? 🙄
