I had 8 weeks off the bike when I did mine a couple of years ago. The medic that saw me in A/E was pretty switched on as although she couldn’t see a break, on the original X-ray, arranged for a follow up X-ray and MRI scan. These confirmed the break and monitored the healing process, which was good as I’d been treated as if I had broken the goddamn bone.

Went from NNics to these mutha-truckers. Great tyres, can’t fault ’em.
The 2.25 Exception versions, that is.

The ride home, at 20.00, was amazing in the sense that I was amazed that I didn’t get killed! Fuel rage was causing a bunch of to55er drivers to swerve into the cycle lane in order to que jump into the petrol station. Bunch of ‘kin nutters!

My GP checks the PSA for all blokes over 50 as a matter of routine.
The PSA on its own isn’t that reliable – concurrent infections etc don’t help, for instance – and let’s not forget WE ARE CYCLISTS – think about what gets, erm, pressed/compressed then Google PSA and cycling.
If you’re having any trouble at all taking a pee, go see your GP.
