Off-loading Carroll is going to come back and bite Rodgers on the ar5e, IMHO. Subtle he ain’t but towards the end of last season and with England, in the summer, he was getting his form back. Let the other nine outfield players play the tippy-tappy stuff, lump it up to him and there’s a good chance he’ll score or set someone else up.

Had a “windfall” in that region a couple of months ago – to be honest, I’d rather have my mum still on the planet but hey-ho.
Taking rest of family to see eldest daughter who’s a research scientist in the Kalahari. She was home in June for the first time in a year – mum/grandma died 3 weeks before she came back, so it’s kind of a pilgrimage. We’re also going to Botswana.
The rest has been squandered on a road bike/shiny bike bits and paying off a slice of the mortgage.

SITS. On that freaking off-camber bit about half an hour after the thunderstorm had turned it into custard! 😐

Don’t plug in when riding but do have tunes running through my brain.
On a particularly fast bit of road, yesterday, I had “New Day Rising” by Husker Du rattling around my noggin at a virtual “11”.

service it yourself and you’ll learn what you need to do when something goes t*its up out on the trail. I like tinkering though.

    I’m just Yorkshire… :¬/

Only got a road bike this year, CAAD 10, due to the sh1te weather turning the local trails into unrideable swamps.
As it turns out, it’s the best purchase I’ve made for a considerable length of time… 😀

Is it chronic or acute, lymphoid or myeloid, what is his age etc, etc.
In kids Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia has a high remission/survival rate, Acute Myeloblastic less so.
A bit more detail is needed, PF.

Does anyone know a sports shrink? I let a few people down this weekend… … not helped by a 2hr walk around Derbyshire at 2am in the morning :-/

No you bloody well didn’t! Stop beating yourself up, man.

I quite enjoyed my walk, in the early hours, tbh. Removing the grass reinforced mud afterwards, however………… 😐

Right-o, so the course is in a reasonable state, atm, which is fine and dandy – I don’t have a problem with mud, anyway. What I really, no, really, really want to know is WHAT ARE THE CAMPING/PARKING ARRANGEMENTS AND WILL I NEED A CHALLENGER TANK TO PULL MY PIKEY WAGON OUT, COME MONDAY MORNING!!??? 🙄

Very hard to test two frames against each other unless the builds are exactly the same esp wheels, tyres and tyre pressure.

Exactly the same build (105) and (heavy/crappy)Shimano wheels with Ultremo tyres(120psi).

The CAAD10 now has Ksyrium Equipes.

Hard to compare frame materials directly these days. A Cannondale CAAD10 is one of the nicest riding bikes regardless of material. Some carbon can be overly flexy etc…

CAAD10, here. Couldn’t find any appreciable difference, with my ropey riding style, between it and the carbon framed SuperSix.

We’re having a garden party on Saturday so there’ll be lots of cars trying to park in our road and ones close by. Should I be paying for the police to ensure safe parking?
