The 26" inner tube fits fine – I ran my bike for 2 years on 26" inners – you just need to stretch them a little bit before inflation.

Have you seen a 2.3 on 29ers? It is an awful lot of rubber. 2.2 and you'll be reet.

bigsi – you reinforce my belief that you get more out of a bike (regardless of how slow you think the steering etc is) the longer you ride it. There is something different about riding a bike that actually fits rather than riding what is almost a bmx – subtle but it sounds like you get it now with the bigger wheels.

ADH – he liked the bike – he is now going to build up a bike he really doesn't like as punishment for his personal failing – his own big-wheeled sack-cloth and ashes!

Unbelievable that no lessons were learnt prior to BBF.

You mean different company in a different country on the next weekend? Quite believable.

I'm amazed that people will leave £3k bikes lying around anywhere. Take responsibility for your own actions.

I'm loving the Uvex helmet fit – cooler IMHO.

I'd make smug b***ards who don't have cars ride terrible bikes so their moral high ground was extra high.

If public transport worked properly, then yes. It doesn't, it won't, so here we are, exactly where we started.

laterooms.com and put Hyde Park as the location to search near. Sort results into distance – sorted.

If it is formal, is it fashion?

SOOB never actually takes off his nehru-style suit anyway – if he tried the static generated would kill him.

Remove cufflinks and have your valet look after them. In fact, just have your valet do the folding in the first place.

Try 'manual labour' for building bulk – I hear the common people have need of this sort of thing on occasion.

You must be asking for someone else!

Unfasten the cufflink, then fold upwards – it isn't that difficult. Suggest a couple of turns only so it sits mid-forearm rather than all the way up and making your colleagues feel puny with your display of rippling bicep.

I rode to work today – in baggy shorts on a hybrid bike with skinny (for a fat man) tyres. It was great. All lycra was properly hidden.

    Tsk, internet hardmen..

Nope – just an understanding of basic physics – you + ADH =/= me + large Camelbak + flappy shorts.

    cast ADH – you broken?

Go to a motorbike shop and get the Oxford branded buff-a-likes – 3 for the price of a buff and does the same job.

Bundled TooTall into a bush by the sounds of things.

If you tied yourself to KT there still wouldn't be enough of you to bundle me anywhere!

Of course the icing on the cake would be a stuffed Red Kite

Animals should be enjoyed alive, in the wild, from a distance. Not dead and stuffed and kept. Thats just sad.

mind you I'm too busy barging slow newbies with half ton camelbacks and knee length flappy shorts into hedges to notice.

You sound like a BMW driver from the North Bristol slums.

I'm just hoping the bbf is the reason there are so many stony-faced runts battering around Ashton Court at the moment and they will be sated by it.

There's mine, on it's way to winning Set2Rise solo at the weekend:

Lots of twisty-twisty is where I made all the time

Stupid boy! We all know that 29ers are slow and utter rubbish on anything other than fire roads or tarmac! Retract that statement immediately! What would you know?

    😀

Avoiding it – hopefully the serious, head-down, barging antisocial, lycra-clad mardy riders will get whatever it is out of their systems and the area will be full of happy cyclists next weekend.

Every man should own at least one beautifully fitting suit – obviously shirt, tie and shoes must be tastefully co-ordinated and spotlessly clean.

You must be sooooooooo disappointed by 95% of the male population then – and about 99% of the posters on this forum!

Anyone know what types of discounts are available at the factory shop?

Less than half price on some lines – depends what they have been making, what is in your size etc. They have a lot of stock in there, from their t-shirts, knitwear and footwear through to the jackets.
    Some real billy bargains.

That is where they are made and where the factory shop is. 🙄

Get the 'Time Out' guide to LV – it explains everything and is usually kept up to date – fascinating when you understand the place better.

Great for the job intended ie hunting and fishing etc. Mostly rubbish at anything else.
If you live within a reasonable drive of Tyneside, Barbour every time.

Hennessy Hammocks are well rated but not cheap. I've used a cheap 'parachute silk' hammock for years with no problem – taller and heavier than you too. Just like this one:

    Lightweight Hammock

Very easy to get in to and out of. Just depends where you hang it.

He wants a 29er that is less 'steady' (unstable?) than he has tried – and with narrower bars.

I recommend a 29er unicycle for clubber! Ticks his boxes thus far.

For what it's worth I had a 29er inbred XL before that and it felt like a tractor compared to the swift.

Well – going from niche to uber-niche you have to say that! I do hope it is rigid as well!

Well then – come over and we'll take the Sultan and the Scandal out for an hour and you can moan without parting with cash first! ride the Scandal and look at the Sultan! 😀
At least then you'd know whether you like the Scandal with a fairly short stem and W I D E bars. Or not.

Don't buy the ring yet. Propose, THEN buy the ring. You will never guess what she really likes and this is a 'rest of life' thing to wear.

Seriously fella – we're not supposed to know how they think – that would make it too easy. She has to be involved in what the ring looks like.
