Wasn’t there a study a few years ago that found a significant number of people thought Hitler was a fictional character? It’s frightening that folk don’t know of some of the most important events in history.

I’ve got one and it does the job. It doesn’t have a track up option so can be a little confusing if your heading “down” the screen. That might just be me though, turning left instead of right etc!! You get used to it though and its very easy to use.

I’ve got a Zesty 514. 2011 model and use it for XC and messing about at trail centres it’s a great bike imho. I can’t comment on the xc as i’ve never ridden one.

Go for the Zesty i’d bet you won’t be disapointed. :D

I have a 350mm post at the mo on my Zesty.. I do have quite a lot of post showing because of my long legs. But its obviously not past the min insertion thing.. So was thinking 380mm.

Keep the full suss clean you should be fine.. After the “summer” we’ve just had i can’t see winter riding being any worse.

The look of horror on some poor ladies face in Ambleside years ago, was enough to persuade me in the way of the baggy short over the tights..

It basically seals the hole and plugs it. Its just a liquid latex type solution..

Not sure how long it lasts though.. Mine was still liquid when i swapped tyres over in the spring.. I think it had been in there about 3 months.

+1 for the complete stone roses.. Seen them a couple of times in Newcastle, they were really good.

I have a bell but hardly ever use it. It just seems rude to me and shouting excuse me frightens the life out of folk.

Never had too many problems over the years though..

I was recomended vitamin B tablets in Greece last year.. Doesn’t stop the little horrors biting you but prevents the itch.

Start taking them a week or 2 before you travel.. Might help if the little buggers get past the deet or sss.

I thought stans was supposed to convert any tyre to tubeless..You just need the sealant in there to make it work… Have a look on the stans website there’s vids on there to show how its done.

I tried to get some Rubber Queens onto my UST rims, and couldn’t get them to seal. I’m not the worlds most patient person so i gave up and put some tubes in there..Plenty have said it can be done but next time i won’t be such a tight arse, i’ll pay the extra few quid for the UST tyres!!
