Toughend is stronger on the face the edge is the weakness. Its possible there is a screw head or a screw coming through from above and the ever so slight movement has caused it to touch the edge pf the glass.

You will see when you come to replace it. Once the beads are taken out look for the culprit :-)

The carbon 456 is great for the money its light, strong and will be great with 130mm forks ad that what i run for over a year . For 300 notes its bloody hard to beat.

Paragon tapes on ebay. The matte finish matches the naked carbon frame perfect. It wont protect from rocks etc but it does stop it getting white scratches all over the matt finish.

I have them been running them tubeless too. Fantastic tyre IMO not the best grip wise in sloppy mud but general xc and trail centre riding they are great.

They take time to get to seal as sidewalks are pourous but once sealed they are fine !

Well just to let everyone know its been 2 months. Had 1 reply from chumba saying they would send me the decals and parts that simon said he would get me but i need to fill in the online payment form for them to send then.

I sent an email explaining this shoul be a warranty matter and they should send them purely to show good customer service commitment but alas i got no reply that was well over a month ago.

Simon has gone all quiet not contacted me since he said he will try and sort it out for me. Now i am worried because when the bushes wear etc what can i do ?

I would love to recommend chumba to everyone because the bike rides great but i cant because the customer service and lack of interest to help and that fact that i might struggle to get parts make’s me feel gutted .

That kcnc bb is fine except when you have to use them stupid plastic bushes with the shimano spline. Theey wear out to quick and are stupidly easy to break !

Cannot think of anything better for the money other than hope on stans crest mine have been brilliant .

Also ask to be shown all old parts and show you the shiny new master cylinder on the car you can tell if its old or not ;)

Jesus thats well over the top considering my commercial Van has a heavy duty clutch with a dual mass fly wheel which has to been done at the same time and the total for all works was £800 i would say he is doing you big style !

I rode flats for a while then changed to spd i had afew tumbles but after a year and a half of constant use i find them fantastic i can clip out just as quick as putting a foot down it just becomes natural. I find them more efficient .

The bb is typical 68/73 external bearing so hollowtech 2 or sram gxp for example.

Conventional type front mech i troed top swing but it messes up if you run a small double set up as the bulge at the bottom pf the seat tube is in the way.

The seat tube is a 31.6 with a 34.9 clamp.

The new geometry is down to the new angleset headset they have made which allows you to make the head angle more slack

You would have to drink alot of milk to match a proper protein shake. For 400 ml of milk you would be looking at around 13g of protein and 30 odd grams of sugar . For my protein shake per 400 ml is 40g of protein and only 10g of sugar and protein shake contains the amino acids for mucles too.

I am currently using bc x king protection there fantastic not had a problem tubeless since I got them sealed they are well quick in the dry and certainly grippy enough. In the wet they have even surprised me and get me through sloppy mud too.

They have done 500 miles or so mix of road/off road xc riding and they still look like new !

Had it on my bike around a year. Its been great its stiff the rings have done well only bad thing is the bb wont last to long . I changed mine to hope with gxp adapters and its lasted 3 x longer so far.
