Got x kings on both bikes they have fantastic grip and roll very quick for the amount of grip they give.

If your interested i have 2 x x kings in 2.4 protection you can have for £50 posted they are only a couple of rides old i am using 2.2 now they come up fairly big with good volume

I was looking at the same needed a 100 to 120mm fork was going to go for the rockshox reba but i cannot stand the remote lockout. After a lot of reading i just purchased the x fusion velvet rl they come with every steerer option internally adjustable from 100-130 abd co
E set up in 80 100 120 or 130 and qr or bolt through fork. They also come with a 2 year warranty and are apparently super easy to service.

For 315 pounds it seems alot of fork and every review i have read about there 2011 – 2012 stuff seems super positive. Once i get them ill update thos thread if you like

Just get the hope tubeless kit for 20 quid and change the rim tape to the stans yellow stuff. I got my ust rubber queen on by hand and a continental x king by hand both pump up with track pump and popped straight into rim bead.

Cannot see th fork being the issue its 10mm the diffirence between running a external cup. I cannot see that you would notice that…

Whatever you get you always think what if? But thats just the way we are once you have the new bike though im sure you will enjoy .

soft under power is a comment about the 456 i cannot understand. There must be something in the groupset or the bike set up as the BB area of the 456 is huge and the chainstays are well oversized in comparison to most carbon frames. Never noticed any flex in the frame under power in over a year of use…

3 eggs a day should not do anything drastic jesus body builders eat them by the bucket load daily and pretty sure they do ok.

That looks fairly easy tbh wonder if its the same on the 2012 damper really hope so. I take it the travel reducer goes in the opposite side to the lock off part?

hi mate know how your feeling my change of lifestyle going from crap to eating healthy caused me problems. I was eating a loads of fibre too but nothing helped went to the doc and he gave me a 2 week course of laxido which has got me back to normal. it apparently can be caused by the sudden change of what you eat and the amounts of different food which the body is not used to so it needs a kick to sort itself out :D that is my theory.

Nacho the downtube of the c456 is carbon and kevlar blend fir strength and shaped to a point to deflect them had mine well over a year had plenty of rock strikes and its totally fine.

Not thought about a carbon 456? 140mm suits perfect you wont break it and it puts up with rock strikes etc with no worrys.

The crown race comes with the bottom cup and everything for top cup is included except for the top cap. Would be full headset except for top cap if you brought both parts

Terrible tyre on the front naff all off camber grip went in the tyre box after 1 ride. Maxxis advantage are better current x king even has better grip with less knobbles…

If you can afford the conti black chili tyres get them my x king have been brillaint. Remember to go for a protection version or ust the rocks at coed y brenin like to ruin lightweight tyres.

Stick to either the 1.9 or the 2.0!hdi avoid the petrol.

The 1.6 hdi is more refind than the above but there will be bigger costs if it cocks up

The front sox mech I had on my 456 was rubbish tbh the xt which replaced it is miles better. I would say get an xt on there for 20 quid it’s worth it

    is the company safe styles?

project i dont understand your comment on toughened glass its strong enough to have a house brick bounce off the face. toughened is weakest on the edge. Even if someone wanted to break in they would have to make a hell of a noise then they have to smash the float glass and climb through the stuff which is razor sharp. smashing a toughened unit would wake half the street.

Laminated glass is crap ok it stays in place if broken but its easy to break in the first place and if you know what you are doing simple to get past the soppy plastic centre…

i am a self employed double glazing installer and i would say thats too much jesus that price for the front door if just pvc is well over the top. you can get a top composite for less than that…
