Had delivery this morning from stif and am in love with it only got a chance to try the pro in the shop but opted for the SL in the end as i found it in stock. Exspected the cassette etc to be lower grade than xt but to my suprise its all xt which put a smile on my face. Only had a quick 20 mins spin as i am off out tonight but intial impressions are its fantastic. Its alot more comfortable than my carbon 456 on the rear and very quick. The position even with the long stem does not feel to streched out but then i have not ridden anything steep yet.

Bring on saturday for the first proper ride .

Think you get a pack with 2 x spokes and stickers per box so 4 spokes as spares. Had straight pull hopes for over a year never broken a spoke. They look really good but are a pian to keep clean …

Calories counting is quick and simple with something like my fitness planner etc. makes keeping track easy enough you have to be honest though if you dont add this and that and cheat you cannot exapect to loae weight.

Little bit of advice dont do what i did and completely cut all fat while trying to get lean. Cutting nearly all fat has ruined my performance over the past year. I upped my carb and protein intake got rid of the fats which considering fat transports nutrients around the body etc was a stupid mistake. Also my endurance dropped massively having no fats to use once the carbs have run out meant big time fatigue and malnourishment.

Just notice the amount of cheeses etc they eat in ther diet :-)

Best way is balanced diet and a calories deficit .

Hi mate i had the same plenty of fibre paste then i just took a note of where i set it . Took the allen key with me and just did another quarter turn till it stopped slipping you would break the hope ali bolt before you snap the frame ;-)

Its a nice place they have a ok red routh which is not difficult 2 short climbs but relatively flat. The blue route is pretty much fire road as said. There is a go ape there and a on site cafe. Its a nice place to walk around too

If you have not tried them dont slate them they are the best grip i have ever used. I had lizard skin peaty before an i would take these any day.

On long rides you get no hand numbness and you have no end cap for your hand to lean on when you hold the edge of the bars. Once installed and dried these do not spin rode in wales in 2 days inconstant rain around afan and they did not move once.

    Worth every penny imo.

as above i could not get on with the loose feeling in the time pedals so switch to spd. prefer the way they fell clipped in but they are certainly not as good in sloppy mud.

still very happy with my XT pedals

Depends really if its a big conservatory you need to check the windows have a bit of reinforcment. Then the roof bars will need to be changed to heavy duty and check all ring beam fixings are up to the job as when some people fit plastic 1s they miss some out. Pretty much it really.

I’ve got 160 on the front and back of my carbon 456 can lock up the brakes with no problems if need be. For big stuff like the alps etc probably go 180 but for most of uk seems enough for me

Got a feeling they won’t fit they are huge they measure 60mm across and are high as well. They will leave you sod all clearance in a reba fork and got a feeling they might be too big for the anthem rear too.

Its a piece of cake mate. Look inside the headtube from the top remove the top bearing. Use a large flat head screwdriver and angle it just under the lip give it a little tap with a hammer and move round gradually tapping and it will drop out. I have changed mine 3 times without any damage to frame or headset.

I can recommed the fusion velvets i just got a set and they are fantastic i have owned dt swiss forks, rockshox and currently own a set of fox rl aswell and the x fusion are up there in terms of quality and performance they are also super stiff and plush out of the box.

No silly service intervals either great fork for the money. I know you can get rebas for same money but warranty is shorter on rockshox and i cannot stand that bloody pop lock !

2.4 x kings are huge imo you would not want to run 1 in a rockshox reba fork when leaning in a corner it would rub. I have x kings on the back of both my bikes an have done for the last 2 months they have been really good i was running the 2.4 on the front as well and that had loads of grip as well.

Three is a knack to it. I even got a ust tyre on the other day. You need good tyre levers and a strong grip :-)
