rp16v that’s very strange you say it made you feel like the front wheel wanted to tuck under as its the complete opposite I feel when on a 29er. This is due to the sheer amount of tyre in front of you. when I ride a 26″ bike I feel like the front wheels so far away and I am perched on top of the frame.

Did you run them at silly low pressures or something

You weigh the same as me I’ve ridden crests in Wales etc and I ride pretty quick and don’t always stay on the floor… But in 29er you might find they twist when you lean them over.

It’s 27 pound according to whyte… its not an xc bike though if you want a light xc bike it’s not the best choice if you want a trail bike that’s a good weight and tough then it’s perfect. It’s light where it needs to be which is the wheels it’s got a 142 wide rear maxle, maxle front fork it’s pretty solid. Only problem you may have is getting hold of 1 but I would recommend you try 1 if you can.

I’ve only done 1 ride on it but they are crazy stiff wheels I did a couple of jumps etc nothing to mad it’s coming to Wales with me so that will be the test. The short chain stays are great too

I just got a whyte m109s and it’s bloody good fun can just fly down stuff slack head angle so steep stuff feels fine but I pedals great. I cannot recommend it enough.

I got the reaction gtc sl 29er and it’s the most comfy bike I have ever had. It covers ground really quick, spec is ffantastic, performs great on steeper stuff to due to the big wheels it doesn’t give you the feeling that the front wheel is going to tuck in I wouldn’t change it for any other bike!

If your interested and they fit fine ive got a set of the 2012 which have been used for 2 rides you can buy them off me if you like with a pretty hefty discount not even fully worn in. they are in white and as new. going 29er all round now so no need for 26 forks.

If you don’t might be best just to buy an oem copy of Windows 7 for it as a fresh install is the best way. no point in paying out all that money for an ssd then not getting the full potential out of it.

Managed to see a nurse last night after work she said diagnosing knee problems is very difficult and she wouldn’t like to guess so booked me in for an mri scan. She said the wait can be up to 6 weeks but sometimes quicker. I am going to just take it easy for a while now any bike Riding will be done in the granny ring and my shimano spds are coming off and a pair of time pedals going on just incase.

I have I’ve stopped everything no squats, no running, no cycling for the past 2 weeks. Cheers for giving us the heads up on how long treatment can take I will ask for a referral without doubt for £150 I would rather avoid 12 week’s waiting time…

Went and viewed in tonight and brought it . Very comfortable position wise compared to my old focus mares for the money nothing comes close got it second hand still as New can’t wait to ride it !

Oh you can also have the glass with laminated sheet internal and toughend external for max security i would like to see someone break into that without someone noticing cost will go up a little bit though.

All the doors will most probably be secure by design spec and reach the same standards at the end of the day there is alot easier ways into a home than trying to open a 5 point locking door most thieves will just smash a window. Toughend glass is easier to get through in terms of once its broken it leaves a clean hole. But someone would have to hit it bloody hard to break it so either way is a deterrent.

It is offroad with road to link it all up usually through jordans woods, into farningham and sometimes onto lullingstone golf course

3 x layers of stans yellow tape and some no tubes liquid and thats about it run mine like this for over 6 months.

The groove is usually used to slide in a decorative piece its not going to causr any problems as its moulded. The lead with the gap on the other hand might be leaking due to the gap. Get some lead sealant as normal sealant wont stick well to lead. The leak could be coming from above the units as its not usually very well sealed up there and driving rain and high winds cause leaks.

Although you could grt the bead from various places the chances of ot fitting in the grooves correctly are very slim. You would probably be better off having a square ali bead made in a small size and painted then screw it in this is the only way i could think of getting over it.

Even the newer ali systems can suffer condensation problems.

Waffle I’ll see ya there as I signed up for that as well my legs are gonna hate because I had a knee injury my running has been very slack can still cover miles easy enough just not as fast as I would have liked. Hill sprints have helped.

I did the 5 k earlier this year that was fantastic hope this is the same think I’ll wear shorts again though as I wouldn’t want to run in wet tights :-/

Thats a very small openeing for bi-folds tbh… i would go with a nice set of full size patio’s and get rid of the sidelights thats just my opinion though.

make sure you look at upvc bi-folds in person before going ahead imo they are ugly i dont mind UPVC plastic frames but UPVC bi-folds look too bulbous

Congrats on the weight loss but there is 1 thing i would say… Its taken how to to get to the size you have ( and anyone else who is overweight etc ) whats the obsession with all of a sudden needing to lose like 4-6 a week ? At the amount of weight loss you can guarentee thats not just fat your losing slow and and steady is best 1-2 pound a week max.

I have fitted plenty of them . In plastic there not very pretty imo but in ali they do look fantastic even a 3 pane 1 would look great and when they fold back they really do open the room up. Security wise there fine same looking system as normal double glazing on main door then shoot bolts on the slave doors so no less secure than anything else on the market 9/10 is easier to smash the glass …

Just grab a tape measure draw shape on paper and measure as many poi ts as you can. Redraw on ply or mdf and cut out

Suppose it if you want to build mucles etc if your happy looking how you are just do bodyweight stuff if you want to add a bit of size get in the gym on the heavy weights. I must admit isolationa exercises are boring. Compound lifts are another matter

I started 6 months ago i now go and do squats , deadlifts , rows , presses etc it was great for riding being a rake on the bike but my manual job was near on impossible and i was weak. I now for the first time in my life never wake up with a bad back like i used to and being on the bike for 4-5 hours is now pretty easy and i get off without feeling wrecked. Tbh everyone should squat its fantastic :-)

Just make sure ya get xt shifters the rest dont matter.
