went to bedgebury and found its been much improved since last time. new berms put in to help flow and a lot of work in general to help the drainage. Had a go on the new black run too which is fun but not really black run level if you know what i mean.

used to ride flats had no problems keeping my feet on the pedals etc but i much prefer clipless now. i have greatly improved since. once you get over the fears of being clipped in its no different tbh. i have done everything i done on flats on clipless but imo my climbing is improved when clipped in.

my reasoning behing this is when the back end slips on flats there is little you can do to keep momentum and carry on where as when your clipped in you can keep momentum by pulling up.

this is just my opinion and preference though :-)

i think you will love the revelations mate i have had them on a long travel hardtail frame and i loved them.

only reason i sold them was because they were QR but they still did not feel flexxy then felt like pretty much point and shoot :D

coping brilliantly. Not had any major issue's with it at all i have jumped on it done double's on it ( and cocked some up ), crashed on it and it still looks like the day i brought it.

Its a true pleasure to ride and i cannot recommend the frame enough.

Only small gripe is it should have a bb protector plate for when you drop your chain but i have applied some real carbon layer protectors in the area to stop it getting damaged. Even when i did drop the chain under full tension on a hill it barely marked the outer layer let alone the carbon.

Seeems strong enough to me

A failed abs sensor can throw up problems everywhere as well do you not know any mechanic friend's or know anyone with a diagnostic machine?

If its VAG get it put on a VAG-COM and get a print out of the faults.

how you finding the xct 555 albino?

if you could keep me updated on how much they change the bike that would be great always better to get a user's opinion first. i thought marzocchi were good at 1 point i would never recommend them to anyone now. :?

The bike is a KHS xct 555 currently got a 140mm marzocchi 44 tst2 fork and i hate the way it works. i have had rock shox revelations and there 10x better.

The bike is fine and the rear shock ( monarch 3.1 ) is buttery smooth.

The pikes are 454 coil U turn and the bike has a 15mm bolt through axel atm but my other bike has hope hubs so i can run either.

Just not sure on what forks are better the bike currently weighs 32 pound its not lightweight but there is always room for improvement another option is the Magura thor currently on offer for £360…

2.35 panaracer rampage i can spin out on the SS climbing on cold and damp ( not frozen! ) tarmac. compared to cheap shit nevegal/blue groove ( wire bead, OEM, 11 quid a go from wooly hat shop ), i go for the kendas.
    you need a man-size 2.35 though

suppose it depends how much tarmac you want to ride on generally i am riding on mud

ive got the panracer rampage but in the 2.35 variant i have tried nevegals , and maxxis ignitors and i prefer the panracer by miles roll faster on road and grip better on generally everything I highly rate them !

They also got a fair few good reviews :D

Not being funny but it sounds like they are in a worse situation than you they have no 1 in-line who knows what there doing by the sounds of it. Your expected to show the other guy what to do right?

If it was me i would be telling them what i was doing If i was you mate i would go out with the extra money i assume you have earned from all the other time and go and book a 2 week holiday with the family.

Take a copy of the holiday dates to HR hand it to them and say ill be off those dates and walk out.

What can they do fire you? for what? there only going to leave themselves short on staff who have no clue what to do then there buckle under pressure and they will have no 1 :D

all public transport is getting dearer its not alot more now to go in a cab over the bus with the bus fare being £2 but the comfort and the fact that the cab picks you up from your door far outweighs it.

got a carbon ec70 post and its been brilliant. no problems with it at all except it sliding down while riding due to being in a carbon frame but a bit of carbon grip and all is good. feels solid and looks smart.
