same here sub contractor doing double glazing the majority of the work i do is for 1 company and they keep cutting everyone’s throats on the prices and reducing the fitting rate for us.

That combined with increasing cost of fuel and this is looking like a very bad financial year/future

i use the stuff near enough everyday in window fitting. i use warm water and soap and a pumice stone.

Superglue wont last long on the shoes though as water breaks it down even when dry.

try some water mixed with washing up liquid spread around the bead. sometimes the bead can be abit tight if new so it helps them seat properly.

Ive done 7 hours straight non stop riding on the c456 comfort was not an issue its light, agile and stops trail buzz. I have got rid of my 5″ full sus as the c456 is everything I need I only have 130 mm forks on it atm but I am seroulsly tempted to try some bigger 1s in the summer

BEen using carbon bars for 6 month done jumps, crashes and I would do downhill with them. I use a easton carbon seatpost too which I have had no problems with. Trust the stuff its great.

My on one carbon is going wales with me in april and it will suffer the same abuse as my full sus did.

been using Time pedals for 7 month’s now and i wont choose anything else. they still run like new. there easy to set up, easy to clip in and out of even when caked in mud and can on be found for good prices.

A friend of mine has the Look pedals he likes them but had to have afew rides of difficult clipping in and out while he found the right spaciing on the cleat as the look pedals use shims.

My dad also uses time pedals and swears by them also.

I have been playing for around 8 years now owned a fair few rackets now but my current 1 is my favourite of all time. Its made by babolat ( rafeal nidal’s tennis sponsor ) there french made but they are truly brilliant. Its has made the biggest change to my game.

The whip in the shaft has allowed me to clear shots easier but also increased my smash power. also recommend the babolat hyper braid string

heres a link they start at £30 then go up but there worth every penny in my eye’s on my 3rd restring to which shows they last in terms of the frame being strong.

could be that the crown race was not quite set undo the stem and tighten the bolt that goes into the star nut in the fork then test it again. if all is ok then tighten the stem bolts again.

36/26 is what i run its perfect for trail riding great for around the woods etc and the 26 is fine for going up the steep stuff.

didn’t have a problem with any of the hills in Wales.

genrally its the EGR valves depending on model and another common part is the oxygen sensor on the CAT they tend to fail and cause all sorts of problems.

depending on the iridium plugs they could be your problem i know there only a spark plug but there is 1 make of the plugs which is known to cause a problem with pugs.

i would have a go at simply cutting away the wedges in the tenon first using a correct size chisel and some patience and then try to use a block of wood the same size as the tenon to knock it back through. They generally only used a normal mortice and tenon on the older doors.

If you strip the door back on the face as well near the tenon you will be able to see if there is a wood dowl. If so drill that out too and go to local hardware store and buy some new dowl in the correct size to rejoint them later.

If the doors are old the glue probably would have given up the ghost anyway… all depends on the age etc.

can you see the tenon coming through the timber to the other side? or is it a concealed tenon?

trust this frame i have hit a motor cross bike head on the brake disc folded in half so the tension through the fork legs must have put a hell of a strain on the head tube but still it survived.

i have hit a metal post at full pelt and hit the floor falling on top of the bike and it was fine.

all this and the finish is still virtually un marked.

Why the need for a “pretty bike” it gets covered in mud and thrown down single track :D

while doing that it rides great and can take a good drop and a crash at the same time.

Done the same as you been doing it for a year now had a hardtail then went full sus. Soon realised the full sus was heavy and not required for most stuff i do so i purchased a Carbon 456. I took the full sus to Wales as advised by most.

Soon as i finished in wales i thought to my self there was nothing there that i could not have done on a HT and i think also at the same speed. yes there is some roots that you clatter over but then again you choose line better on your HT…

I have now sold the Full sus and love my carbon 456. It is my do it all bike and i would not choose anything else over it.

    Hope this helps.

pretty sure you can only use a sram/truvtiv bb with there cranks. have you fitted the right amount of spacers to the bb .
