i must say i am most impressed with rose bike’s. ordered the 2012 xt double crankset for £130 quid along with new xt pedals and afew other bits and its here in 3 days from germany. Brilliant the new XT crankset looks bloody smart too :D

rock and roll is best stuff i used after muddy rides a quick clean makes the chain and cassette look like new again.

Reason i ask is if a upvc door is not ” racked ” properly over the years it can drop causing the locks to stop working a make it rub/ hit on the bottom of the frame. If it was correctly racked the amount of movement you are talking about should not of really affected your door.

All the shifters are the bloody same in the sram line up there quite cheap in construction . While i do love there rear mech’s i must say i have really gone off there shifters.

Is the front door pvc?

Imo yes the cheap carbon frames are bad dependant on which 1 you get. The seat tube insert cracked and came loose so the seat stem wobbled. Then the bb area made crackin noises and then it snapped on the rear stay. Under the weight of a 12 stone man…

flow thats rubbish there cen tested and can take a hell of a beating. you do a downhill course on a ebay carbon frame and i can pretty much guarantee you will brake it in some way or another.

i know this as i have seen an ebay frame crack in front of my eyes and that was just by riding along…

the on one frame is bloody strong not heard of any breakage yet and i have done plenty of rocky trail centre’s with mine have loads of rock strikes and its as good as the day i brought it which is around 1 year now.

You got to drink alot of milk to get 40 g of protein which equates to alot of calories and sugar as milk has a fair bit of that too . Matrix protein mixes with water has low sugar low carb and high protein . It may be better to get it from food but if you want to lose weight as well its hard to keep within your goals without a little help. Plus 24 quid for 50 shakes is cheap imo.

Go onto supplyment centre and look at the matrix recovery drink good price for a big tub of about 50-60 servings . Got the protein and amino acids to aid recovery its about 2-3 x cheaper than maxi mucle and the banana taste fantastic .

Had it before brought instock items then got email a week later to say it would be a month for stock… Crap imo

What you have is right the hope step down uses a standard crown race the same as the 1/8 headset that hope also use . I have got the same thing for my bikes carbon 456 and chumba vf2

The finish looks right to me gloss finish over undirectional carbon weave. I love seeing the weave on mine specially in the sunlight :-)

got them and they have been great had to go up a size to get the width in the toe box. they are alot less airy than full on summer shoes they have no vents but for that reason keep water out for longer and toes warmer in the winter.

Just best off replacing the old outers are probably worn through by the inners as well .

Brake bumps everywhere atm which does ruin it a bit…

Very disspointing fork imo did not feel very plush could not get full travel. I got rid and replaced with revelations. How about the rockshox sektor on merlin with discount there 250 quid lighter and imo a better for for the extra. The 44’s were bloody heavy too

tis true the 2.25 is massive same size as a 2.35 panaracer rampage atleast. so 2.4 will be like motocross size.

close to you i am 5’10” and 32 inside leg with long arms and quite long upper body. the tt of the 456 c top tube is quite long so i run a 70mm stem if you have average size arms maybe a 60mm would be better.

i run a standard length EC70 seatpost around number 2 so an extra inch in leg would make you go to setting 1 so should still be fine.

the size of my frame is a 18″ certainly big enough for me a large would feel like a barn gate imo.

virgin… nothing else internet wise really comes close the speed they sell you is the speed you get. unlike bt who are terrible and talk talk who are just as bad.

The new x7 Shifters feel the same as the x9 imo the older 1’s were not as good.

No tyre would deal with the mud the other side of the river it was like glue. Think i saw afew torq team runnin rocket rons. But i could still hear them dragging when they went passed. My advantage front and back kept me happy loads of grip on the ups and rocks then quick enough everywhere else and not a single puncture !

Cannot stand the stuff anymore more like eating cardboard than a treat. Much rather have a indian takeaway or summin . :-)

Same as someone said earlier you fit taper fox floats 150 to your bike there still slight flex in the forward/ back of the stanction and in the legs on heavy cambers not the headtube.

I was reading the other day apperently the only bad thing is the yoke contains 5 grams of fat so 3 eggs is 15 grams . Remove the yoke and you have a very low fat meal/ snack . If not on a low fat diet … Enjoy !
