Got a set of scott trail BOA system shoes you can have for £60 posted have a removable spd cover so you can use them for flats as well. Very smart shoe but perfect balance of comfort and pedal efficency. They are brand new never worn. Email tony18@hotmail.co.uk if interested

Not technical at all, but masses of grip on pretty much every tyre i have used there last time was maxxis ignitors but nobby nics or the like will be fine for the sharp ( ish ) climbs which are very short.

But even though its not technical its bloody fantastic the speed you can do around it its like being on roller coaster but your in control the small jumps come very naturally and its just a smile inducing fun trail centre.

The north shore part is just a slightly raised platform about 6 ft high but about 3 ft wide so plenty of space to put feet down its roller able.

Its a good ride mate nothing really challenging about it. 1 tough climb at the end but its fairly short. I made a big mistake of not eating enough through the ride so make sure you take enough food put some snakesize bits in ypur rear jersey pocket and just keep eating little and often. I learnt my lesson the hard way.

my advice would be get as much kit you can from the likes of stanley, irwin, bacho etc cable cutters for example for a cheap set of bike specific brand your looking at around £10 and they will be blunt in no time. Irwin on ebay are £10 and they will last you forever quality made and can be resharpened. same with spanners, Allen keys, sockets.

Only bike specific parts i would buy would be HT2 tool or any other bottom bracket tool.

I got my own headset removal tool made from a stainless steel tube and the same with the cassette removal tool.

I am not even impressed with park tools stuff seems like overpriced stuff to me.

Had the galaxy and then used a iphone 4 and that was pretty much it got 1 from 3. The galaxy is a good phone but it does have some silly issues which is purely because of the variations in the amount of cross platforms it uses.
Not to mention the iphone is a ipod too so i sold my ipod and made a bit of cash back.

Cynic-al i didnt say gym i said circuit training including sqauts. Lunges, sprints etc etc no weights used at all its increased my aerobic threshold ten fold so doing hill sprints is a hell of a lot easier than it used to be.

I was doing 100 odd a week at 1 point 30 off road miles rest commute and i started to slowly get worse. I have started doing circuit training instead and it seems to be helping more than hundreds of miles did. Still doing around 30-40 miles a week aswell though.

Cable cutters get irwin off ebay as there twice as good as the brands on chain reactions and half the price, samw goes for allen keys etc irwin and stanley will be better and cheaper.

My dad brought 1 of them frames, the bonding that holds the seat post collar in snapped so the seat post wobble the bb insert creaked, the headset didnt fit in properly and sat to far out the cups. Serously spend abit more and get a carbon 456 from on one or a whippet.
