Try undoing the inners. Oil may have got in the wrong place. Just undo with a 17mm spanner I think. If you’ve got this far it’s no more complicated in there

Did you make sure to hold the lever open and have it upside down when pumping it up? Failing that I cont know. There’s not much else to them really.

Mine are both single ply maxxpros 2.35s. They’re fitted to an orange five and I do everything on them. I do find the rear a bit pinch happy on proper dh tracks. They last well and aren’t exactly expensive. Can be picked up for around £20 each. I find the minion has a lot better cornering grip than the hr on the front, especially when it gets a bit wet. If I’m heading for gravel trails and I’ve the time, I usually sketch to a hr front and a intense system 2 on the back for better rolling.

If you’re near the coast get down to your local harbour. There will be a supply
    Shop there that’ll have them.

Used high rollers for years, then tried a minion on the front, hr rear and haven’t looked back!

Hope free hub seal tool is handy for fitting new seals I’ve found. Maybe someone local has one

Was there around that time last year for climbing. There was still a hell of a lot of snow down to about 2000m or so and not many bikers about.

Free stroke should be fully screwed out on the xt brakes. Possibly the same on xtrs

I’d say it won’t have anti foaming properties which are usually specced for suspension oil and my damage the seals and the like

Put a chain guide on it? I’m running a bb mounted gamut p20 the last 5 years or so. It’s now on an orange five workingn a treat!

5ml of oil? From my knowledge of fork design id have thought this wasn’t really enough in the long run. It won’t take much for this amount to lose it’s lubricating qualities through contamination and end up with worn out bushings and seals very quickly.

Smoothest forks I’ve used were open bath bombers, no doubt down to the amount of oil floating about the seals and bushings.
But sure what do I know, rock shox must know best

More sea bass off the coast over here at carlingford lough. Also more red squirrels returning to the mournes.

I’m a fan of an ice bath then hot shower. The ice bath is meant to force blood deeper into the muscle, the hot shower then draws the blood out with hopefully more of the lactic acid.

Works for me after heavy training sessions, but could be the placebo effect

Forget your bearing pullers. Lump hammer and screwdriver is the recommended method.

The hope drifts make life a lot easier. Worth the 20 quid or so in the long run. Have used them on plenty of other hubs aswell.

Potentially some water or air has been absorbed into the system, may need a bleed with the new pads to get them running well again.

I found it takes a fuse few goes to get it full to the neck.

How much of a full strip down did you do? Did you take apart the damper unit itself? Totally straightforward, undo with a 14mm spanner it think, then there’s two orings at the top of that where te activator lever presses. Mines leaking from there a touch.

Fox float fluid works well I find, much quieter and cleaner than grease

Soft shell proof spray on. Can’t use a wash in on it as it’ll affect the breath ability

Have a five with rp2 and 32’s. I do all mountain on it ie everything. The odd dh run, xc spins and mainly natural single track. It is a great bike. Only thing that let’s it down is the shock on long descents. If I did more dh stuff I would go for the alpine, but for everything else I find it the perfect all rounder. Just fitted a single offset bush and it corners even better and it’s a bit more stable on the flat out dh runs

Be careful if buying in the states. They use a different scale for the quality of down used.

Had similar on an s40. Front wheels with uneven wear. Turned out to be from one of the front alloys haven taken a bad knock and being slightly misshaped. New wheel sorted it, but wasn’t cheap

Catch rat in live trap. Starve said rat for a week or so. Catch another rat in a live trap. Add this to the one that’s hungry. It’ll eat the new one. You now have a cannibal rat that will eat the rest

Gamut p20 bb mounted. Been on three bikes now, one hard tail never had an issue with it. Easy to set up once you know what you’re doing

Can’t fault my old style gamut p20. It has the lower roller. The newer one has a static lower roller, can’t see much to go wrog with it. Never liked the look of e13s. Too much going on

Make sure to clean out the machine before hand. Take out the detergent drawer and filter thing and give them a good clean. Then put some boiling water down the detergent drawer and then run a boiling wash with a couple of towels and soda crystals to clear any residue

Had the same issues with my rp2. Turns out something had blown in it. Sent it off to loco and came back a different shock.

No old bits included in the red. You need to get onto the natural stuff. Dh3, Ballyed etc are some of the finest trails about and the best is yet to come 😉

Lot of high horses about. No one ever broken the law?

Have to agree with a previous post. Over in the Ireland in the border regions and most of the north, a high percentage of diesel is laundered. So the red/ green is a cleaner fuel as it hasn’t been touched. There’s even talk of them playing around with petrol now and diluting it down with cheaper substances.

Easy job. Cassette off. Pull end cap off with pliers then pull free hub off. Give the panels a good auld clean and relive before you pop it back in. I’m using float fluid ATM. Seems to work well. Grease works also but seems to be noisier

Happened me with high rollers in the past, definitely not from seating them wrong.

Only thing on the sellers behalf is it might have been in storage before the sale and may not have known about it?

I’m 6 foot and have an 18″ old sizing frame. Any taller and I’d want to go a size up
