Go from Larne to Belfast. Then out to strangford. Get the ferry over to portaferry. Camp at castle ward or de Lamont. Then down to the mournes. Camp around castlewellan or kilbroney. Head on down the east coast towards Dublin. Plenty to see along the way. Then across to Galway next day would be my suggestion.
Fabrizio is a top lad. A lot of the uplifts are the same guys, running vans all day. We got a fair few from the shop up near finale freeride. Can’t remember it’s name.
Had a lot of tests done after an abornmal ecg including cat scan. Never could find an explanation for a small blip in my heart rythm. Took a while to shake off that what if feeling but alls good now. Feel free to message me if you want more info
Maybe try betd components. They may have a bolt through that will fit. I replaced a maxle before with one. Superstar also do axles but I think the thread pitch may be different
Sorry, should have elaborated. By the time I drive into the city centre, find somewhere to park, take my bike to the shop and pay the £15 I would say it’s too dear. Thanks
I have one. Handy wee bike for the commute. Gearing is a touch too high for my liking so will change it at some point, couple of teeth off the chainring maybe. Yep brake judder on the front. I put a bit of toe in on the pads and it lessened it significantly.
Climb doesn’t take you most of the way up, still a bit more to do. Views are amazing though after where the uplift drops you off. Plenty of spots where you can bail back to the trailhead too if you get a bit knackered. Could also drive to the top car park yourself and start from there and climb back up to get the car at the end/ get a lift. Similar distance to buzzards nest in glentress.
Yes I’m sure they are genuine unless wiggle are selling knock offs. The space where the strap is has a pocket for the strap to run through it has been stitched together forming a seam.
Poc vpd 2.0s have a seam along the bag that chafes the life out of my legs. They also stink even thought they’re polygiene treated. Not a fan. Looking to try some of the raids but nowhere has them in stock!
I think to work in France you need a course coordinator who has the international mountain leader. Aslong as he’s involved and you have a Mtb qualification from the eu you’re sweet. Don’t quote me on this though. The new British cycling awards don’t include coaching as standard so won’t be that far up the ladder of the eomtbing stuff. Shots themselves in the foot a bit, only seem concerned with profit, much like the bcu
Not 100% sure but check out eomtbing it’s an eu wide scheme that takes all the awards and scores them against a benchmark. Soon they’ll be giving out guide cards depending on your level. Switzerland and France already doing it.
Cheers guys. Lots of good stuff there. 25 and not hoping to stay there for much more than two years really all being well! Get some experience under my belt.
