Accessible? Yes, harrogate seems to have avoided the worst of the snow, can’t speak for how it’ll ride, but it’s been struggling to get above freezing even in the day, so hard ground. I’d give the woodwork a miss though, be a smidge slippy I’d wager!

I saw an intense m3 leant up outside sainsburys once, no lock nobody seemingly watching it. A life of crime was never so tempting…. Didn’t though. The guy came back after 10 mins (I was waiting for a lift) so I instructed him of his foolishness (wasn’t some pikey who had no idea what it was, he knew he’d been thick) upon his return.

I’ve ridden my it1 to work more than once as there’s nothing like commuting on a 40+lb DH bike to build fitness!

Guess ive bucked the trend, I’ve just ditched 1×9 in favour of 3×9. Curse my pathetic legs and lungs! And general fitness…:-S

It’s bb mounted, using a 73 mm bb shell so it replaces the single spacer you would normally use. It fouls the chain when in the granny ring, to the point that the crank will hardly turn without a fair bit of force. I’m thinking that using one of the bb spacers between the driveside cup and the back plate of the device to give a couple of mm more clearance but am a bit worried that that reduces the contact point of the non driveside crank by a couple of mm. If I do this am I going to be killed to death?

Pjm, yes. Yes they do. I live in Harrogate, on the flight path of a typhoon. While it was flying silly low. At supersonic speeds (confirmed by the MOD). Genuinely thought the sonic boom was an earthquake, absolutely awesome.

This is easily the worst documentary I have ever seen by a country mile. Amal fashnu running up and and down Britain trying to goad people into saying they are homophobic, and then critise them for it. Then she interviewed Matt Lucas, whom laughed at (even with) one of the ‘homophobic’ chants from a Leeds vs Brighton game (we can see you holding hands)

Its almost as if she wanted/ is searching for someone to blame for her uncles death. Be that fans, players, the FA, the media, even her own father.

IME bonuses/comissions are only a good idea if the target is achievable, otherwise people get so demotivated they just resign themselves to not getting them and productivity and morale takes a kicking which is an ever descending spiral.

However if the ‘carrot’ is within reach and everyone is hitting the targets, the morale is through the roof and folk enjoy coming to work.

Sadly im currently in the former situation.

Was with A&L, never had any problems, no problems when they switched to Santander either. Plus due to them buying nigh on every branch of every bank ever, its never a problem finding one! (there are three in the small town centre that is Harrogate!)

If you buy off eBay and use paypal you’re protected. If you use paypal gift (on here for example) you aren’t. Difference is that folk on here are trustworthy (for the most part) and don’t want to transfer 8 million dollars to your bank account, on account of your lottery win.

I’d bet that email address doesn’t ever get looked at by anyone, given his high profile and that he’ll be a target for folks anger, he’ll have an alias. You’d be as well sending a mail to john.smith@rbs.co.uk…

    SDG saddles
    Shimano drivetrain (xt and above)
    Easton bars
    Maxxis tyres
    Anything made by chris king
    Specialized enduro grips
    Rockshox forks
Fox shocks (but am trying out a ccdb in the near future so that might change)
    Mavic rims
    Camelbak
    5:10
    Troy Lee Designs

I’m also very loyal to the second hand market! Of my current stable of 3 bikes the only things that were bought new are:
3 sets of grips (I loves enduro grips!)
    1 XT rear mech
    1 XT 9 speed shifter
    A chain
    A king headset
    A stem
    2 rims

King hubs and headsets (not tried a BB yet). They provide a lot of value for a lot of money….. And have a pretty ace warranty, not that I’ve ever needed to use it. The shinyness helps soften the wallet pain too!
