Fan of the concept, though it could be better executed here, on account of the fork being a bit over damped.

    about 17kg as is IIRC

I don’t think that exact stem exists in 90mm (website lists a load of sizes, but not 90mm, BTWIN is a decathlon brand so if that don’t list it, I imagine no one will)

However if you type ‘90mm road stem -8 ’ into Google, bazillions of options come up, from £20 to £300.

Does anyone know or understand the legal basis for what BPW are saying?

    Their park, their rules.

    Their insurers too.

Can some one give an example of a downhill track that isn’t man made?

obvs they are all man made, but lots of board walk, sculpted jumps and berms etc as opposed to a much more natural feeling trail.

If you can’t go fast, go long.

Or stop giving a shit. I race once a year (Hamsterley Trail Bike DH), and love it. I imagine it’s the same for the 2 or 3 folk who finish behind me.

Didn’t think it was available in the UK market? Or if it is now, that’s only a recent thing

I’m sure it’s not impossible to find a way of confirming without eBay busting you.

’battery is removed, but bike comes with everything you need to go for a ride’ for example.

What’s to stop folk selling them without the battery (assuming it’s removable) then ‘forgetting’ to remove the battery?

From a 20 year old bike that wasn’t universally loved at the time?

id quite like to build one with modern suspension and kit, just to see.  Suspect that might not be a money spinner though

I get nice things are expensive, they do t need to be THAT expensive

You could almost get a nice mountain bike for that!

Echo the stem thoughts. Needs to match the tube diameter/shape for me.

But it isn’t for me, custom bikes need to please 1 person.

So you can’t take bikes on trains there?

The UK? Yes, though the companies make it as much of a hassle as they can. But not battery powered Scooters, and given the attention (illegal) e-bikes get, would t be surprised if anything with a big battery gets banned, in the name of fire risk.

Couldn’t figure out why they didn’t just hire a Bumpa lift for the slates,

because they wanted to come in under budget. That’s how you make savings, lots of little areas, not one big one.

    Interesting thoughts here

basically, they might help,, but might make things worse. And not ideal for something as variable as a DH trail.

    Pretty easy really.

Host the image publically (on Flickr, postimg etc) and link to that. Or subscribe and add it directly.

I went to specsavers to have it hoovered out, but the couldn’t get it all, leaving a small bit that was blocking my ear canal, as they aren’t allowed to go so far in with the vac, so went elsewhere to have them flushed out.

    Best feeling ever.

I didn’t hate it/him as much as I thought I would having read here before watching. Amazing he’s managed to get as far as he has with his somewhat lacking attention to detail, but he’s not even top 10 when it comes to grand designs throbbers.

His main contractor deserves a sainthood though.

I have AXS on the road bike, as its better than a mechanical groupset. I won’t be fitting into the winter hack/gravel bike as I can’t be doing with the inevitably of water getting in and it packing up, have enough misery of the ebike doing that!

I’ve commuted for a year on an AXS gravel bike, as well MTBing with it for 5 years. Hasn’t missed a beat.

It’s an interesting contrast with F1 (via Netflix) using Guenther Steiner’s constant barrage of f-bombs as a marketing tool to raise the profile of the sport though…

…way more than F1 has ever managed on its own.

When did you last see photos of an F1 driver falling out of a nightclub at 4am?

Probably best to add a ‘No Kimi’ clause to that ?

That his car was Ducked. Or words to that effect.

Bin Sulayem says he wants motorsport to hold itself to a higher standard than rappers. Which says a lot more about him than it does about Max.

At the end of the season that fastest lap point is only significant if Lando misses out by 8 points – that’s the 7 that he gave back to Piastri and this potential parting gift from Danny Ric.

theres another 3 points from where they didn’t swap the drivers in monza too.

No. Some cost that. Most don’t.

No idea, but not something that needs to be gossiped about if true.
