Tom, hopefully you will be back on the bike soon, but iv a feeling you wont be up for another ride before im off to Uni 🙁

We will have to wait till im back for xmas, bet it wont be quite so dry and dusty more wet and muddy but still good fun. Another good reason for our SS 😉

Take it easy mate and watch where your going 😀

I havnt raced, but have been to a few races, and know plenty of people who have raced. Yes it can get very muddy but i think most races during the winter will have a fair bit of mud. If you enjoyed the summer series then you will enjoy the winter. The courses will be the same kind of thing that was at the summer series, just the weather that will be a little different.

Mousehold Heath isnt really anything worth going for, mainly just a few jumps built by kids that keep getting knocked down and rebuilt.

If your going to happisburgh make sure you go up the lighthouse at some point 😀

Hardtail for sure. Lots of nice quiet lanes as Solo said.

If you want some good off road fun, get down to Thetford, lots of singletrack and black and red waymarked routes (www.timbermtb.org for more info) or Tunstall, lots of singletrack but nothing waymarked (www.trogmtb.com for more info)

    fox middle suspension??

This is so common now, and they always seem to get away with it. The police are useless and ebay need proof its stolen, like the description isn't proof enough!

What i would do to the little…

Flat and flowing singletrack, gets very muddy and rutted when the rain sets in. You will enjoy in. Only technical bits will be if any bombholes are included but they are not really too technical

As njee20 says no claggy stuff as its all sand

I have a strong feeling that Racing Ralphs will get cut to pieces.

GW its good to challenge yourself, is that not what racing is about? Its a good course, just a little rough in places.

A silky F180 folding saw is the best trail building tool i have used. Folds up small, is light, very good hard sharp blade. I have cut though some proper big trees with it 😯 I dont get on with folding spades, hide a proper one up nearby if you can.

I've picked up on the fact that British grading is pretty varied and laughable compared to other country's

The black at Thetford springs to mind 😛

Lots of fast swoopy singletrack, in Thetford Forest. Third day in a row! Did bits of the black but mostly exploring new sections. Love getting away from everyone else and out into the quiet forest where no ones around. Even found a new bombhole today 😀

Thetford is riding lovely at the moment, a little sandy but quite fast. Gets very muddy in the winter and after lots of rain, but still good fun on a singlespeed.

The black is good at the moment, not a true black, its not very technical at all. The red is very good, with the first technical sections in the forest put in by TIMBER, the local trail group. The forestry have been down lots of stone, which is loose in places, but getting better.

There is miles and miles of lovely flowing singletrack but does take some exploring to find. Oh and there are lots of bombholes which are very fun!

Park at Brandon Country Park not High Lodge as it free but can get busy!

Check out the forum at http://www.timbermtb.org for more info

    If you do go, enjoy!
