I think there’s a video in the making. Cheers for the share!

The PB page said that it was available to download on Xbox live and playstation which would be the best way got me to watch it in a big screen but it doesn’t seem to be on the playstation store yet. Searching for Won’t back down just brings up some shitty looking American film.

Yo gabba gabba on Netflix is great. My 3yr old girl loves it. She also has a twice a day frozen habit which is quite annoying.

I watched it on Eurosport so don’t know if it was the same coverage but they made the Desborough/Rushton mistake too. The sprint was along Desborough high street but the organisers must have changed the sprint as a few days ago the official route said the first sprint was going to be Rushton high street so I guess the commentators had the old route guide with them.

Ramsey Neil…… Know your Rushton from your Rushden! Rushden is near Irchester & higham ferrers, Rushton is out the back of Kettering.

Upgrade bikes charge £55 for a compete service. I used this recently after following the same guide as you to try and DIY.

Came back from upgrade really quickly and in full working order.

I got some £1.50 jobs off eBay. Running fine with no issues and 10 mins to swap over. Given the prices I may look at some ceramic ones next time.

Bit of a guilty pleasure which brings back childhood memories but the Stone Cold Steve Austin podcast can be interesting depending on the guest. It’s odd listening to old WWF wrestlers talk about their former careers and how they were all alcoholics or stoners and what went on.

Hilo for me. Used mine for 2yrs solid without fault. It is away for repair at the moment as it drops 2/3cm at full extension but I think a nasty crash is the root cause of this as a home service & rebuild has not fixed it. It’s also a doddle to change the oil.

When my wife bought her iPhone on the EE full Monty plan I asked if we could tether to her iPad using the free data and was told no. When I bought mine from a different EE shop a few days later the guy said officially no but do it anyway, at worst they will send you a polite letter to stop doing it first. Tethered to the iPad loads of times to watch I played etc and no heard a peep from EE.

SRAM and shimano are happy together with the front mech but rear mech mixing is a no no.

Do you have a smart phone? I nearly got a DAB for the car but in the end I just got a 3.5mm lead from my iphone into the stereo and use the iplayer app. Works like a charm

I have a bump on my shoulder like yours, although its not quite as big. I had an OTB at speed and a tree was kind enough to break my fall with the full force of my shoulder going into it.

Thought the pain & swelling would go down and it would all be ok. I didnt notice the bump on my shoulder for about a month and it was still pretty painful. I then thought id do something about it.

Went to GP who sent me for a scan at hospital. They diagnosed a cat 1/2 sprain of the shoulder (Dont know if thats the same as ACJ seperation?)

i then had 6 weeks of physio which didnt 100% cure but did improve it a lot. Physio referred me to a shoulder specialist and ever since then ive been going back every 3/4 months for a check up.

Specialist seems to think it will all be ok in good time by its self.

I’m now 12 month on after my injury, heres the good news..

Bar the first 6-8 weeks it has not stopped me riding and ive had a few offs with no further isues. Riding has no bad effect on my shoulder.

Bad news – If I do any moderate lifting above shoulder height it can play havock and my shoulder can feel as bad as it did a few weeks after the injury and take a good few weeks to return to what i now accept as ‘normal’. Got my next specialist visit end of month so will see what he says about it.

perthmtb, I thought that the main points of tubeless was lower pressures and puncture resistance. Why would you not put sealant in if you then lose one of the main benefits of tubeless? There is probably a valid answer but I can’t see it.

I use Maxxis Advantage Maxpro tubeless, they work a treat. 2 scoops of Stans and no problems since installation about 6 months ago.

DUMB QUESTION TIME! Why would you run tubeless without any sealant? If you rode over a nail or thorn what would you do then?

I can’t help you with any recommendations but I share your pain. I used to do it all the time. moved the position of it around loads of times but I’d always reset it at some point in the ride.

It’s crazy, i went between 97-02 and most years we got our tickets by phoning some old granny at the Glastonbury town tourist information centre!

I’d love to go again, it really cheeses me off when you read all the balls about Glastonbury being a crap festival. If you’ve been you know its the best festival on earth. Even if the headliners are ‘mainstream’ there is so much to do to entertain yourself.

    Comedy tent FTW!

Cheers anotherstan, i’ll check back on that site when i’m up there (will have 3 spells away in Wakey between now and Christmas) All the ride info seems to be quite short notice.

Failing that i’ll just ride around Newmillerdam until i see some lights!

That could be handy!I’m going to be staying just outside Wakefield in a week or so for work and was going to chuck my bike in the car and do a quick night ride instead of getting pissed at the hotel bar. I’d seen some sections on Strava at Newmillerdam so was going to use that as a start point.

Here’s a question, a bit off topic i know but kind of relevant…

A fork returns from service with a new damper & new seals. I presume as they have all new internals that they will need bedding in again (stated as 20hrs)???

    1 dial with three positions.

    Position 1 is full travel
Position 2 is reduced travel (travel is reduced by 1/3rd and only a very small amount of actual bounce in the fork)
Position 3 is full lock out and is as stiffas anything!

I forget if you can fully lockout at only full travel or reduced travel as well as my lock out has not worked for the last few months. They are currently en route from TF tuned after having a new damper fitted. A common problem apparently.

Mountain bike, SRAM X7 top pull mech, shimano slx shifter. I’d been informed that it doesn’t matter about mixing Sram and shimano front mech & shifter.

    Cheers normski!

So remove spacers, install clamp and then fit stem and do up star nut as normal? I like the idea of this as I can fit it to my nice bike!

    tomfun

how do the bobikes attach? Do they bolt on to the spacers underneath your stem? If so, how much clearance do you need?
