Ever seen a badger use a chain saw? It's that kind of stuff, un used and neglected for a long time.

Cheers Stumpy. There are a few votes for the apple green as it happens! With red finishing kit sounds nice but unusual also.

Phone Orange by the way… no joy with the EVO. wounded. They were prototypes all 16" and all have gone. The buzz is that Orange will release the new bike after it's promo at eurobike! I'm thinking that i will hang fire now to be honest.

After all… it's more about getting out on the bike you got…. ain't it?

Thank you for that, sorry in the delay in responding.

We rode the Trails the other day, typically it had been dry all week and started raining as we pulled into the car park! LOL 😡 (that was the second car park by the way having found the wrong one named 'Stainburn Forest' and rode for a bit before making an educated decision we were not where we intended!)(Norwood is where you need to be by the way.)

I really enjoyed the trails and would like to commend the creators, in the black route you have created arguably the most technical black in the UK. Unfortunately the rain hampered certain line selection aided by the 'green moss of pain' covering the rock sections.

The trails also highlight what can be done in a relatively small area, and has inspired me to look at the possibility of developing my local trails which are non exsistant at present. Any advice on how the process of this happens would be appreciated.

Can you reveal the location of this new project? 😉

Nope… i think the 4 pots are the way to go.

Thanks for all your posts and pics people, certainly given me plenty of food for thought!

Off to phone Orange to see if they have a 20" Evo sitting about in the workshop! 😉

Nice bike mate! Understated yet classy, i suppose it's all in the detail. The dilemma is now whether to hang on for the 2011 revised geo? Talk about a spanner in the works man! ❓

no i wasn't aware of that mate! would make sense mind, the seat post is limiting. I use a droppable post which (unless you have a gravity) ain't an option. would be gutted if they released a all new frame next year, however.. i could be buying the last of this classic shape.

Nightmare. I was looking at gunmetal.

wrt wheels i have a set of Spinergy Xyclone enduros with white pbo spokes that would look spiffing. with white goodrige hoses maybe? hard to keep clean tho, having said that i am a member of the toothbrush brigade.

Quality service from Hope with the coding! I did consider calling them and calling in to the factory to see some frames in the flesh. Might just do that actually… could tie it in with Dalby on friday.

Disco was recommended by my LBS, apparently they have a new that makes it appear deep blue- purple in sunlight (5 days a year then ;^|)

Lovin the build bud! Just sorting the job myself as it happens.
Where did you source the matchmaker clamps from? Can you adapt a normal M4 clamp or are they specific?
