Ash. Can I ask you how you get your pics on the forum?

Thanks for the advice Ash, nice bike also mate. I nearly went down the La P route but budget wise could only afford the 514 and the white paint was a bit last year IMHO. Seriously dunno what to do with these wheels now man… Sell both and go Mavic SLR or supa bling with some Crank Bro Iodine's! LOL

The Mavics are an option mate, and CK hubs are bomb prof for sure.

I had a look at something similar and really liked them.

The stone camo design ties the titanium colour of the fork in better.

The most anoying thing is that has just come out of my (New) LBS and i had kinda hoped that they knew what they were doing in there. I'm not averse to a bit of fettling quite the contrary.

Here it is by the way….

er… how do i attach some pics?

    Thanks chaps.

Wen't 'au naturel' in the end. There is a bridge colapsing in a valley near me and they have closed the roads off for foundation repairs, ideal it was.

I very vaguely remember GCSE chemistry (very?) and the old Cola experiments. LOL.

Right off to find a 1 in 4 via Tesco with a bottle of vegetable extract in hand. 😉

I find that 2L is just about bang on for the 2-3 hour riding that i do.

I wonder who else makes bladders apart form Camelbac?

Mate. DWagencies may be able to help you? They are the distributer. Unfortunately the MTB side of Spinergy doesn't get as much sell as the roadie stuff over here apparently.

I had a go in earnest in trying to get some white for my enduro's.

I gave up in the end but will need to resume the hunt for my Alps trip this year.

Thanks for the link fella. Interesting to say the least. The sooner they get their fingers out in Halifax the better!

    Any how…

Already got a xc/trail bike set up in the conventional manner.

    Now Bill,

Lovin the orange! which one is it? Rims work well, seal the deal.

I say that it's down to preference, and what you are comfortable with to be honest.

The freedom of choice is a wonderful thing!

As it happens… my shoulders are of a 'barn door' type width and i find that my 710mm Easton fits me bang on… if that's o.k with you?

The bash ring is due to my increasing confidence, genuine neglect of the big ring and combination of more technically demanding riding where i feel that it will be of benefit. Phew.
    🙄

Sound, thanks for that. For the limited ammount of DH i participate in it would be overkill.

Thanks for the offer on the ring Clubber, i'm gonna hit CRC tho. 😉

    This could be dangerous

Oopps. I'm not sure that i actually rode Stainburn! Is that a different place to the Norwood car park?

A mate of mine is a leccy tech and informs me that high capacity batteries have a habit of building up a 'memory' and that they need to be fully run down after the first few uses. This then enables the batteries to run to there maximum potential for longer. Or so he reckons.
