I wouldn’t bother, decent (non supermarket) fuel should be fine. I used to run super unleaded in tuned turbo jap cars to save them from blowing up (unsuccessfully).

    Nice choice of motor btw.

I have takes the remote off my fork since I realised I set most of my fasted dh times with it mistakenly locked out. It is a cheapo fork though.

Velo club don Logan (VCDL) was my fave, covers road and mtb. Sadler no longer broadcasting, old episodes are well worth a listen, even an interview with Chipps!

Bike shop show is good for spannering, a shame it’s American.

Yet to find a decent mountain bike one though.

LBS just need to be canny and they can compete. My LBS has a club with £5 per year membership, for that you get 12% of parts accessories and clothing. They don’t keep massive stock, but can order anything, and you still get the discount.

If you look at crc wiggle etc, most of the stuff that is normal size, current model, and in stock is only 10% off. I ordered an endura mtr emergency shell for £79, much cheaper than online.

Unfortunately the discount doesn’t apply to bikes, so my next one will be from canyon.

Tomtom app is good for in the car (expensive).
OS App is good for……..OS maps (expensive).
Runtastic mtb is ok for short rides, but eats battery (cheap).
    STRAAAAAAAAVVVVVVVVAAAAAAAA!!!!! (Free, but addictive)
If you have a road bike, bike fit fast is good for fitting, particularly if you have more than 1 (cheap).
If you build/true wheels, spoke tension gauge is vaguely useful (free).
    Singletrack for reading singletrack magazine.

Me too with the hope mount on my cheapmoters ebay magi shine clone. I just had to remove the arched section that fits over the bar.

I had a Subaru Legacy SpecB, fits your spec perfectly, other than being very cheap, spend the savings on petrol an VED.

Unless you have a dog just put some wire up.

My neighbours on each side have both replaced the buggered fence with posh post and rail ones. I spoke to the neighbours on one side to tell him I was going to replace the fence at some point, he said “don’t bother, I am replacing it tomorrow”. Turns out he is a complex cock though, he has covered his whole garden 100×10″ with neting to stop my cats pooing in his garden! He gets extremely cross when I have to cut a hole in it to rescue them, after they have found the only way in.

Good pub that, the brace of pheasants. The route will involve lots of wet chalk, so choose tyres wisely.

Well that must mean it’s awesome then Hora, I thought this was a post about Honda’s or is it a Subaru love in now?

Subarus are clearly much more interesting to talk about 😀

Most crv drivers would never be pushing hard enough to notice the rear wheels being driven!

I’ve just had a go in my old mans brand new forester xt, and can confirm it is far superior to pretty much any other SUV type vehicle. He has replaced his freelancer with the subaru ( having previously has a forester). Only down side is the depreciation, but as it’s such a good car why would you want to sell it?

I have driven several Nissan cumquats, x trails, crvs, freelanders etc, they are all dull and poorly engineered by marketing departments. Subaru marketing department is run by engineers, that’s why they don’t sell many!

Surly they could build a “cattle grid” that 26″ wheels would fall through, thus rendering the trail impassable to unfashionable equipment?

Glad you are ok op. I overtake cyclists giving a fill lane, as if they were a car, I often get flashed and gestures from following vehicles as if I am doing something wrong!

I think part of the driving test should be riding 5 miles down a busy A road at rush hour, drivers may the begin to appreciate the vulnerability of cyclist, rather than just seeing them as another obstacle between a-b.

I bet it was and audi!
