IGM maybe! They were fitted to my Jones and not the IF so just maybe they were sulking!

No they were fitted with a rock then repeatedly jetwashed until failure

Did you hold the spindle in a vice while polishing? that is a very random looking failure

I didn’t!! All that I did was to grind off the Big ring holes and polished the arms ;-(

Not to many pies, its pure power ;-) Should have had a power meter on them! The King BB Exploded too but managed to find all the bearings and rebuilt.

An old French iirc wheel size that’s been used by mtb’s for quite a while now. They offer the advantages of a 29ers rolling-ness and fell like a 26er in the Singletrack but have the drawback of hard to get tyres, forks and rims.

SSEC 2010 was crap, full of attentionwhores :-)

2010 ss European champs for a fantastic vibe, great course and brilliant people.

Yes Taz, they arrived 1 year after the event and the day I travelled to SSEC2011 in Belgium so I handed them out randomly in Mardesous!

Any SS event I’ve been to are the best events by a long shot, mind you get a bunch of SSers togeather and you can’t fail to have a great time.
And Corduride is one of my Favorite events along with the cHONC and the inaugural Nichefest will be the best ever.

First thing you’ve got to do is learn how to stay on the bike long enough to record something :-)

Yup me n Mrstollah are signed up and hoping it’ll be warmer this year than last!

I class ny self as a mountain biker so tend to be a little heavy handed with my bikes.
Road bikes feel too fragile to me especially when I’m taking cheeky shortcuts bunnyhopping curbs and speed bumps etc.

yeah you’re probably right, you can’t do that type of stuff on a CX bike

Tell you more about the Kite? It just rides nice and looks great (imo)I had a Paul Milnes a while back and rides so much nicer. Can’t tell you much more to be fair other than I can’t wait to go ride it again on Sunday!

Bar tape not everyone’s taste but it does look ok in the flesh and matches the decals quite nicely.

And it now has Easton EC90x forks instead of the oe forks since those pics.
