I’m out near Morzine for the last week in Aug then Riviera Bike first week in Sep they’re based near Finale and from what I’ve heard are great, the lifts in Morzine and surrounding area will close Sep/Oct see here

None of this big names would accuse him of cheating! And to be fair Mark Spratt and Dan are some of the big names :roll:

And no need for all what? Just saying that he doesn’t need to cheat to beat all the doubters sorry if it came across aggressive it wasn’t supposed to.

Dan wouldnt be riding in excess of 1200miles per month some dsys riding 240miles just to have a cup of tea by the beach, many miles before and after work if he was going to cheat. The guys an ex marine and thrives on going that extra mile to challenge himself. He’s up there on that podium due to hard work, hard winter miles not by gaining 2 minutes by cheating. If anyone thinks they’re man enough to take him on in an endurance event then step up I’m sure he’d like the challenge.

If its tight with 26 then no, there is quite a size difference between 26 and 650b. 1 of my 26ers will take a 650b but it does have slides dropouts. My 650b specific takes a thin 29er but it’s close. If you’re anywhere near Evesham you’re welcome to head over and try one of my wheels out.

Sorry not that helpful I know but looks like you’ve only got Les Gets as the rest of the lifts open next weekend iirc?

Last year my mate rode up from the lift station above Chatel to the top above les Linderets and beat us, we took the lift!

If you stick to the reds blues and greens you’ll be fine over there. Stay away from the Pleney/Most of Les Gets if you’re a little intimidated as those seem to be a magnet for Andy Pandy suited riders that can’t ride for sh** (There are a lot of good riders there too mind!) Head to Super Morzine lift (Thats the one with the pods not the chairs over the river by the suspension bridge) go up there then again up the next lift grab yourself a trail guide and just follow your nose. Loads of fun to be had. By the end of the week you’ll be a much better rider!
