Why compare Ireland’s ferry costs with Europe/France? France is a lot closer therefore a lot cheaper.
We had a quote for camping 3 months back so decided to book a house, works out at £35 each for 4 nights plus Ferry split 4 ways =£135 total to get there and sleep. Oh plus a splash of fuel.
If the alternative sswc is a different weekend I’d be up for that too ;-)

My SIDS are flex compared with my Rebas.

I’m reserving judgement on the new trail too but it may be nice for a quick blast round once a proper ride has been done. I’ve heard that there may be a new trail etched out for the Enduro now they’ve smooved out most of the old one.

Mc trail is riding nice but not as nice as Dungeons and Dragons is :-)

Bad conditions up there would kill more than 70% of the riders so the mix of road off road is right in my optinion. From the parts of the official route I rode last week the majority of it would of held up ok if the weather had turned nasty. Grahamh if you want to put some more stuff in over Laverton end of the course let me know, I know loads of nice trails over this side ;-)
