Andy yeah I’d give it a go, you could always change it back again to 5wt.

Faffing is really easy to do on the SC’s I’d change to a 7.5 weight oil for starters!

Cheers Teacake, not been to Stockholm for a few years now unfortunately have no plans in the immediate future to make it over. SC32 are good forks once they’ve been set up for the rider, standard they’re OK but not the best. I’ve got 2 sets of the SC’s and a set of Ducs.

Bigsi, none on the bid are marked and you’ll never find some of them. There’s a new trail just been opened which is nice but if you want to ride stuff like above email me when you’re coming, if I’m free I’ll show you around.

The altitude won’t help either unless you’re used to it. We found tough rides even tougher due to this!

    2 yes I think you’re right.
3 only using windows movie maker, still looking for something better but it does the job for now.

Ah.. alright then. that clearly makes you superior to an “Andy Pandy wannabee” on a “big bike”

Not sure where you got that idea from but if that’s a compliment, thanks

Sorry no gpx of the route.

If you’ve still got your alps trip ahead of you, you’re a lucky begger!!!

Watching/editing that makes me want to go back and ride it all again.#

Looks amazing – where did you get the route/were you guided/did you just make it up?

Some of it is the Passports route and some of it are just trails that are on the trail maps. I’ve never had a guide, I just follow my nose and find some good trails.

You seem to be riding XC on a dual crown fork with armour

DUC forks are hardly ‘Big’ forks
    Stem 100mm iirc

Does roofbox.co.uk not have it listed? Always found their site helpful.

Stayed in Morzine but rode into Switzerland most days and went beyond the ‘normal’ worn out trails. I’ve hours of footage to sift through yet, the video is only from the Monday’s ride.

Try contacting Craig Simpson from Simpson Cycle Services about parts. He’s the font of all knowledge when it cones to Maverick and 100% more use than their importers.

Lardhelliwell, just go ride! There’s tons if trails or get a map from a lift station and start off with some of the passports route and explore off of that.
