Ahhh nostalgia 🙂 I remember my mate going over the bars on the second drop of double headed dog. Was a tricky one, I never made it to the shore before it got pulled down though…. Never knew where it was, it was mystically referred to but without strava to reference I never found it!

Yes – so long as the car isn’t red

My dad had a Nuvola blue 166 with cream leather (v6 too) that car was the shizzle:)

Very happy with an ordinary 6 here, a six plus doesn’t fit in a jersey back pocket…

    Terra nova voyager xl here

Great for two up cycle touring, plenty of space for gear up front and well built for Scottish weather!

Only thing is when we did two weeks in it we got a bit sick of not being able to stand up properly but that’s the same with any mountain tent!

inner ring has a good write up, basically Astana cant be denied a licence based on the current rules. Start compliaining that the rules are wrong.

If they ban them then they will get back in through CAS process (see Katusha)

Head for the hills nice enough but not good mechanics

Nirvana are excellent mechanically and usually friendly (but Simon has deffo rubbed people up the wrong way! )

New road shop in Reigate is good

However I haven’t found anywhere that is better than just doing it myself!

Anyone with a remote interest in nice cars should be watching, His F12 video and his F40 vs F50 videos are masterpieces.

if you are starting early, prepare to be cold

I did the 3x (club des cinques) in may on a beautiful day but started my first descent just after 9am and it was v cold! – i survived in just jersey and armwarmers though

Too fast, too noisy, you will 100% certainly kill everyone in a 20 mile radius, Blah blah blah

(Ps I like it but wouldn’t have one, too American and no class)

I would be very tempted to keep EXACTLY as found and advertise as excellent quality ‘barn find ‘ through a good auction house. Look at the ones that work through good wood festival of speed (bonhams)

At least they would be excellent people to call and ask for advice!

mmm largely you cant… Much of it is another name for the Ashdown Forest where they have banned off road biking through local bylaws.

Great road riding though, i went down from Reigate a couple of weekends ago, a nice steep climb called The Wall and lots of beautiful rolling wooded countryside.

    forget MTB though…

I’ve given up with fast car threads on here, they just aren’t interesting once the fun police have got involved

Personally I think jimjam has the idea

Mx would be ok but can’t help thinking it wouldn’t do that well living outside in the winter and winter commuting etc

Also might feel slow as our ‘proper’ car has 230 Bhp

in my experiance it is two key factors:
    1) ‘big bang’ delivery rather than itterating small phases
    2) complexity of requirements

(ie they would like the system to do absolutly everything it could possibly ever do, from day one)

I think the whole procurement process is also pretty dysfunctional
