will all put smiles on your face
    (3L V6 of course !)

Blimey omin that is a good enough reason to stop! Mine was a live of girls and drinking when I went to uni!

U lot trying to scare me off with your injury stories? Or does everyone stop hockey following massive facial injuries!

Cheers guys, good to know there are some people out there.
I’m sure i would enjoy getting back into it im just worried that i might not be able to commit to many saturdays and therefore might be more trouble than im worth to a club. I also got rid of pretty much all my kit so it is going to be a bit of an investment to get going again regularly.

Do you regulars find enough time for riding, hockey and partners/family?

I also played left back and would probably still like that position. I love the feeling of a well connected, accurate reverse hit up the line 🙂 I was always a TK stick fan, i think the main reason was the fact i liked the elephants symbol!

My current plan is to go along thrusday nights for 3-4weeks with borrowed stick and pretty much no kit and see if i am still motivated. then i can look at getting stuff. It will also depend on if i get moved from practicing with the juniors soon! (i am not used to watching my language!)

Pretty much only an Alfa if i could pick one from the range that would do what i need.

they get under your skin, not convinced the guilietta hasnt lost its soul a bit in being too good/sensible but at least it will keep alfa afloat 🙂

i get very annoyed a walkers multipack bags.
they have nothing like the same flavour as the single packs. They are clearly saving money by just flavouring them less. to the point where i am thinking of buying six single bags next time i go to sainsburys

    Grrrr

so much for this being a cycling website…

There is no way (ChrisS) that this is the cyclists fault and responsibility to pay for damage. Yes there are thinks that he could of done to reduce the likely hood of it happening but it is still the passenger who shouldnt open a door without looking endangering others.

I would go to the police only to make sure the guy isnt after you and explain you left the scene because of his behaviour then your ass is covered and you have dont knowthing wrong.

very good at keeping your eyes free of much which is the only important bit right?

ps the longer travel you bike, the bigger that gap is, the more noticable effect it has

I was trying to make the same decison a while back and got a cannondale six 105
the current eqiv is the supersix 105 and very smart it looks too.

otherwise id look at canyon, maybe Giant. maybe just find a good local road shop and get something they stock and recommend?

If I were you id get the police notified to insure against the above/ any other dodgy dealing.

if you fancy keeping it though, just move it 🙂 ( although surely ALL your financial dealings are now very vulnerable if some dodgy scamp knows everything about you)

Really tough situation, I just wanted to re-itterate Stuey. listen and dont be tempted to try and fix or find a solution. Works in every part of a relationship, just because she shares something with you doesnt mean you should wade in. Listen, support, let her lead and let her move on if thats what she needs.

    Third will be a 4C

    nothing wrong with Alfa’s 🙂

apart from my dad’s 2600 Sprint a few years ago, Money pit!

the Spider[/url] he has now is much better

Really like the 159, watch for front tyre wear issues and check out Alfa owner for other stuff to watch for

key question for me is do you have a road bike or other spare bike you can leave a slick rear tyre on? (Or does your back wheel have v-brake surfaces?)

if the answer is no to this then get a static excesize bike. if the answer is yes then get a turbo ( or rollers – keeps it a bit more interesting!) and download some sufferfest videos on a laptop in front of you to help you train.
remember to use a big fan to get some air flowing over you, makes it much more comfortable

I would have thought that alot of the larger companies have resort managers / more senior people. you might be able to use your age/ experiance of doing other seasons to wangle a higher paying season job?
