The world at war series also talks about this, in detail in some episodes and extras. I thoroughly recommend the box set.

Id agree with close to that.

40mile mtb in the surrey hills = 100 mile ride rounds surrey/ sussex

cant believe that some of you are asking

It’s a bit weird, and not something I’d do – but why should I report it to the police?
What exactly is “unacceptable sexual stuff”?

Its anything that makes a woman feel threatened or uncomfortable

(I am not sure what benefit reporting to police would have here though)

where the hell did he come from then?! nice take out

I loved sagan at the top of the climb, just hanging on and then just sits on the on tube over the top and cruised up to valverde with no effort 🙂

Wouldn’t touch with a barge pole personally, they tried the ‘you need new pads and discs for £450’ routine. Was a bit sceptical so checked with Alfa and pads were at about 50% and discs were perfectly fine…. charlatans if U ask me

+1 having also done this in pretty deep snow, adds a challenge 🙂

especially for a southern softy doing it for the first time!

feel your pain, all the ‘best’ graduates get snapped up by the big four and other large employers grad schemes. What us small firms are often left with are the people who didn’t get through this stage. It would be very unusual to convince the ‘best’ graduates to choose someone they have never heard of on the basis of a job spec that they probably arnt looking for!

In terms of offering advice, I don’t have much to give as we havnt found the solution either. the crux of it is that the best grad’s need to be ‘marketed’ too before they will even know about you otherwise they will go work for KPMG and the rest

Talktalk internet, call and TV package is dirt cheap and has an integrated iplayer/4od/all the others freeview box which is nearly as good as recording

Make sure you read the manual in anything modern, some new cars are picky about how you do it

I would say ford galaxy/vw sharan/ whatever the Seat version is

basically a van that drives like a car and is MASSIVE with a few seats taken out (if you can store them?)

gribble, I had blue and me on a mito and yes it would work with Ipods through usb. however newer ipods may need a little converter box:

Personally paid into personal account and scheduled regular payment to joint account.

Works the other way around too

we just take all petrol out of our joint account, most of the travel is me but its a living expense for both of you.

I suggest you get a joint account and both put in a balanced amount so that you are both left with the same amount at the end of the month.

I pay £1300 in wife pays £900 – that covers all our expenses and we are left with the same ‘spending/saving’ money each

I would say your attitude is a touch childish but depends on the balance of pay/jobs

Been there for a family holiday years ago. Good walking, V steep roads and pretty villages. If you get a hire car, get one with a big engine!

My abiding memory though is of just how short and ‘in the sea’ the runway was 😯

Ive not really got a good enough handle on what ur saying to judge your situation but there is far too much panicking around sliproads.

Two types, people accelerating to join not matching speed and finding a gap. Either expecting others to move over or then having to panic braking

Or from the other side if you are in the nearside lane doing 60 with a good gap someone joining from your left at a matched speed and then moving out into the middle lane shortly after does not even impact you! Don’t panic to move out or slow down..

another big fan here, my advice if you buy a small selection is get a long one, a short one and one in the middle so you can choose based on how long you have.

Local hero was my first one, its was a good intro 🙂

what hardly anyone says is how funny they are! the first time ive watched all of mine ive cracked up at one of the ‘motivational messages’

Dorset, DTD was absolutely fine, no problems using it, they really arnt involved much!

The dealer I had was JCB group (Gillingham or ashford), I could choose to collect from either. It was a slightly ‘here’s your car, sign here, off you go’ type experience but I cant blame them as they know we arnt local.

Really happy I didn’t use my local dealer as I saved thousands of pounds through DTD

    Im an MCSE:BI

the exams arnt hard if you have experience and do a bit of revision. However if you don’t have hands on experience are just adding it as a qualification you would struggle.

Its nice to have but personally I wouldn’t pay for them myself

Bear, I think the fogs are in the ‘vanes’ in the front bumper, not 100% yet though!

Funky, its on PCP. In terms of transmission its front wheel drive with a electronically controlled, mechanical LSD. 230BHP, 258lb Ft and 1350kg. Combined mpg of 47 too!

Paul smith for me, lovely leather, smart subtle printing (often cycling related)

no coin pocket either, notes and cards and as few receipts as possible

Would have been the perfect Christmas present!

Hence why i don’t race, being obligated to ‘train’ is a sure fire way to take the fun out of bikes

Nobody mentioned the lack of a footrest next to the clutch in UK cars? Pretty much stopped my dad buying one..

I drove the cloverleaf and it was really too much engine for the car, too heavy at the front and not actually that gutsy.

The 2.0l diesel I had as a loan car was more suited, but it was a cruiser and didn’t encourage you to drive enthusiastically.

I’ve heard that for almost everyone the pick of the range is the 170bhp petrol. Powerful and light enough and fun

(I ordered a golf gti instead)

    IT business intelligence Consulting

(building databases, reports, a bit of project management and trying generally to get rid of the excel hell that runs most businesses!)

I enjoy it but have had a quiet couple of months that have been pretty dull

Paid pretty well tbh, although I could earn more by going contracting or moving firm im sure!
