Are they boost or non boost?
I’m sure I’ve got a set of non boost Lyrik lowers in the garage if they are any good to you.

Thumbs up for hatchbag from me. I’ve had no problems with mine, good fit and it doesn’t move about. Mines in a 2019 Leon estate.

I had the same problem with the headset cup on a v2 Bronson cc. They replaced it with a v3 Cc and shock foc. I made the claim to Santa Cruz direct as I bought the frame from Germany, jungle contacted me after the claim and dealt with it all with no fuss.

Yep, Bens right, I took the little spring clip off the clutch and the internals press out. Once out there is 8 little rollers held in with springs, thats what I cleaned and lubed, grease would be too thick. As I said before it’s probably only a temp measure till I get a new one.

Mine’s just started doing exactly the same, On mine it appeared that the rollers inside The clutch were seized, I’ve cleaned them up and replaced them, applied liberal amounts of gt85 and it appears ok. Only did it last night though so I’ve not tested it yet. Probably only a temporary fix so I’ll get a new one ordered. Mines done a few more miles than yours but not many.

My Burgtec composites lasted 2 month before failing, Burgtec did replace the internals though so I’ll see how they go.

I don’t think the vivoactive 3 Supports body battery, if that’s an important feature for you.

I went from vibrocore to one up, I much prefer the one up. You can actually feel the flex in them, at first it felt strange but you soon get used to it. I got the vibrocore following surgery on one wrist and the other wrist broken and they did ease the pain I used to get. Since swapping to one up the pain is still absent, maybe my wrists have improved, I don’t know, but I never get any problems on long descents like I used to and they are noticeably less stiff than my mates carbon fatbars.

My burgtec composites didn’t last 2 months, I sent them back and they said they have repaired them. They were posted back to me Monday so I’m expecting them soon, I’m presuming they have just changed the internals. Shame really as I like the feel of them but I don’t think I’ll be getting them again. One up got recommended on a post on here, I think I’m trying them next.

I’ve had a few things off them, no problems with delivery but when I returned some knee pads they said they hadn’t received them even though I had proof of delivery. They eventually found them when I raised it with PayPal and I got the refund.

I’ve had two sets of burgtec composites fail quickly, bushings worn. I put the first one down to being unlucky but second gone after 2 months as well. I love the feel of them but I’ll be trying something else next. My superstars were bulletproof I only changed because they went on a bike I sold.

Just back from my first run on it, I’ve got the xt cassette, chain, derailleur and shifter running on Sram X1 cranks and chain ring. First impressions are good, smoother and quieter than the 11 speed it replaced, seems a crisper, quicker change as well, even under load, although the old drivetrain was obviously older and more worn.

I emailed Santa Cruz direct before buying my bronson from Germany. They confirmed as long as it was from an official dealer, warranty would be honoured worldwide. True to their word, when I had a fault with the frame it was replaced without question by jungle and they even upgraded me to the latest model.

Off the back of this thread I had a look at Jedi’s site and impulse booked a short notice 121. Anyway I was down there yesterday, a four hour drive there and can only echo most of what has been said above, I feel I got a lot out of it, the day was worth the money and the four hour each way drive. He has a way of putting you at ease and getting things across, he seems to get you thinking your own way through stuff, if that makes sense and he can read you and he picks up on little things. Interesting what’s said above only having one way to teach. We changed track when I was stagnating a bit and then I got it with a different approach. Gareth at Aline teaches the Aline way, which is to get your body shape to match a silhouette of theirs, and they have set methods. (He spoke about this on my course) but that’s fine it worked for me and I took plenty from it. Having had 121 sessions with both I would be happy to recommend either of them they are both sound blokes and good at what they do.
Chris, you will have a good day with Aline, I did.

I used an invisiframe kit a few years ago for my mojo, did it myself, it went on well and lasted. My last few frames though I’ve just taken to shack wrap in Bury and let him do it. I can’t recommend him highly enough, it makes my attempt look poor!

I’ve had a 121 day with Gareth at Aline, he was really good, good teacher and nice guy too. I’ll be going again this year.

@hainman I have some of the storm trousers in a medium that I will be returning if they are any good to you, you can have them for the sale price that I paid if you want them.

He said it was the one with the climb switch, that comes with the cc model.
I’ve been told it’s FOC so I can’t grumble really, they’ve been good.

Had the same thing last week with my Bronson CC 2.1 and Hope headset. Having spoke to Dan at Jungle they are replacing it with the V3, plus the shock, but it’s a 5-6 week wait. I was also told to keep using it.

TBF I didn’t get along with the FlareMAX either. Didn’t suit my riding and I couldn’t wait to get rid of it. I had it set up right but it always felt like a tank to me. I ran it on plus tyres so maybe that made a difference, at the end of the day everyone is different and if you don’t like it, change it.

I’ve got the Burgtec composites, can’t fault them, grippy with fivetens, smooth and have took a battering and plenty of rock strikes. The platform isn’t that big though, but it’s fine for my size 8’s.

We changed suppliers after having one, you just lose the smart element of it.

I downloaded the MTB Fitness program, for me I thought the volume of training was too high. It involves weights 3 times a week, intervals twice a week, stretching everyday and ride as many times as you want/can as well. I found I was lacking on my rides as my body wasn’t getting enough recovery so I spread the workouts out and put in extra rest days. I also personally didn’t agree with some of the advice in it, for instance combining sessions, he suggested if you was struggling to get all your sessions in then do intervals after your bike ride! Also that if you don’t have enough time then drop your bike rides but you MUST get all your weights and intervals in. It might be ok over winter or something if you don’t ride over winter but I like riding my bike and interfered too much with that for me.
YMMV of course and it’s only £30.

I don’t know if it should be or not as you’re not purchasing anything, I know if you deposit to an online bookmakers with a credit card you get charged as a cash withdrawal so thought as this is gambling it might be the same.
That’s why I asked foxy if he was aware of it, anyway it’s not the end of the world it was just a bit of fun.

I used to just have a single go at the end of the month, did the last one and paid by credit card as you can’t use PayPal anymore.
Credit card bill came through and had a cash transaction charge added to it, so it cost me £5.50 for a single ticket instead of £2.50. I don’t use debit cards online so I’m out.
I asked foxy if anyone else had the same but he never replied. I wonder if that’s the reason the numbers have dropped off?

Mine arrived today as well cheers Alex, I had sent it to my wife’s work so she opened it. I got a text saying “have you ordered a gnarpoon T-shirt? I don’t get it, what’s a gnarpoon?”
Should be fun trying to explain later!

You said you couldn’t think of a garage example I gave one. I’ve bought a tyre to put on a refurbed alloy, to be fitted by the wheel repairer and it was the same price as one they fitted on my current alloy so yes it was fitted, balanced and a new valve for free. Anyway I’m not getting in an argument over it, it’s simple if you’re happy with the price pay it, if you’re not, don’t.
ETA I don’t expect anyone to work for free and have no problem paying for services.

If I buy a tyre from my local garage, they fit it for free.

FlareMax, ran it on plus tyres, I bought it coming back from two injured wrists and in fairness it was ok whilst getting my strength and fitness back. Once I was fit again I soon got fed up with wrestling it round switchbacks and humping it over gates etc, too long and heavy for my riding, couldn’t wait to get rid.

I can’t open the online features, just keeps asking me to log in even though I’m logged in, same with the news and reviews.
