I have to say I agree with TJ, he knew exactly what he was doing and closed the door, he also lent on Hushvod pretty hard (hooked his elbow into Hushvod's and pushed back) in the last big sprint that got Cav back into the green jersey, I would think the umpires would be taking that into account too.

That said, the result is harsh given it is always going to be a bit of a rough and tumble side to the race.

Do a search for homemade tyre sealants, lots of recipies out there and you can tune the mix for either long life or sealing massive holes.

Fliipin annoying brake squeal after a bit though isnt it, had to buy a new caliper for a Shimano brake that wouldnt shut up no matter what I did, sometimes it seems things can wear a bit and cause it from nowhere.

clubber has a good point on it depends on the steel forks you have, I went from a set of jump forks that were too short to RC31's that were the right length and there was a big difference…

I got the helmet (+3 more for wife and kids), its well ventilated, fits quite nice and is pretty adjustable, might get another as a spare as I am due a massive off.

I usually run duct tape around my tyres when the going is soft to lesten my impact on the land, its really tricky pushing up the climbs in my carpet slippers but I do feel better about myself…

They will be fine, much better than dragging your feet… 🙂
