6ft in shoes, normal proportions, 80mm stem. Usually advised to go for 19" bikes that always feel a bit big. This one is just right.

A friend of mine (cough) got cut off by them for breeching their 'unlimited' limit. They also used to have regular 'accidents' every 6 months or so that wiped out the ftp website area. Presumably it was getting full. OK I suppose if you fit their preferred customer profile.

    Well you did ask.

Reckon I got the last 'proper' one, only those ugly oval ones available now.

It's not just me with the large genitalia then.

For some reason I find the seat needs to be a little lower on the turbo.

A harder gear, cycling shorts and changing position now and again helps too.

Did a C2C with a 26" wheel in a 29er carbon fork. Rode fine other than felt a bit wobbly under pressure.

The bike was loaded up and the headset a bit rubbish, but I'm sure there was a little too much flex there than was right.

Dogs do fine in draft free sheds with a raised wooden bed to the side of the door complete with fresh straw.

Whereas a plastic tray on the floor with an old jumper in is cruel this time of year. So depends what it's like inside.

Surely an anonymous note before RSPCA?

Had my bottom 2 done exactly a year ago. One crumbled and took nearly an hour to get out.

The only pain worth mentioning was the toothache days before trying to eat. The dentist was sweating more than I was. I just remember how unsettling it was with him frowning and applying so much force but me not really feeling that much myself other than my jaw being tugged around. It's the fear of pain that might come that does your head in.

Can't remember any after effects, drove home, work next day.

When I use my HRM on the Turbo I do intervals between 135 bpm and 165ish over 2 to 3 mins or so up and down. Based on 65% to 85% max. You'd probably want to add 10% to the bpm compared to me.

This sort of work out is meant to help endurance and average speed, rather than max. 30 mins doesnt allow much time for warm up / down, 45 to 60 mins is better.

Garmin bike sensors are rear wheel.

Because you can cross reference it with time and track improvement?

Did anyone else feel wierd watching computer generated porn in the middle of it? It unsettled me.

Not really unsettled but did trigger some thoughts on what what proper 3D porn might be like. 😯

Although it didn't always feel worth it at the time in retrospect I've never regretted working hard at anything. Can't say the same for slacking.

IMHO you should MTFU and see it through with pride even if it is for your own self esteem and peace of mind. Staying professional will maintain a reputation that could give you an edge that might not seem relevant today but may be in the future.

Even if it is just an attitude and confidence that could shine through in future interviews.

Lenovos are proper thinkpad tough though. Can spill your coffee on or stand on them if you feel the need, don't scuff easy, feel sturdy etc.

The 3d seemed better in some parts than others, like getting off the plane at the start.

Thought it was a bit weird where the smurfs were interacting with people and stuff looked really big.

Like when they shot an arrow and it was really massive when it hit the humans, couldn't stop chuckling thinking of the Dennis Waterman sketches on Little Britain.

Look at something then point at it.

Then close each eye and see which makes your hand look more like it is pointing at it.

    Works left and right hand.

    Right handed but left footed.

Have read that I may really be a lefty but have trained my right hand to be dominant. But I too would find Vannessa's arse as equally elusive, and my upper right side is much stronger.

Kicking with the right foot is easier than punching with the left arm.

    Maybe I'm half amphibious.

You only need one brake, the other one is just a back-up anyway.

The plumbing side is common sense but electric showers need the sort of electric hook up that takes you in to the can kill you territory. Add water to the equation and it's a no brainier you need a pro.

Ahem, I think you’re forgetting a tiny little thing called PASSING THROUGH THE GALACTIC CENTER DEC 2012 CAUSING MAGNETIC POLE SWITCH!!!!!!

In case you are wondering that means massive world wide electro-magnetic pulse rendering ALL ELECTRONIC DEVICES INERT!

Over night bikes will be worth millions of pounds as the only reliable means of transport. Most car drivers will be dead or too scared to drive again. How we will laugh at those roadies that just shelled out for fancy electric shifters. Shimano will be the new Microsoft, Sram the new apple, both dominating the world financial markets and suppressing any retro carbon based vehicle development.

The overnight collapse of the service industries and motivated by the new found freedoms and closeness to nature a cycling lifestyle brings will see society develop in a more gregarious agricultural direction. By 2025 the UK will be entirely populated by people with beards, I'll leave you to decide what that means for bikes.

I got some Red Metal 5s, like em, look burly with the oversized hubs but they are actually really light, XC wheels?

Would miss the silent freewheel if I had to change.

Wheels are wheels though, they go round, what much more is there to say?

Compared to the S90 he LX3 has a wider angle and faster lens, and HD video.

Same goes for G11 only also much smller and lighter too.

    GX200 'looks' a bit weird.

All software at school is ripped. Oh, and if a teacher needs a film for class, there is one teacher in charge of downloading them….

    Where is the school, China?

Photoshop would be OK as long as you are sensible with resolutions. AE would be about the worst prgram you could pick for a netbook. But, you would probaby get away with it if you stuck with short web resolutions too.

If you do hit perfomance problems just try using some older version software, brought out when the netbook specs were cutting edge – 4 to 5 years ago?

Have a look at LinITX.com at their regulators, the sort they use for carPCs. When you start the engine you can get surges and obviously drain the battery, cigarette lighters are possible to use but not recommended.

Regulators like the Carnetix CNX-P1260 60W Power Regulator are what you need I think.

    http://linitx.com/viewcategory.php?catid=55

They protect from surges and automatically shut off when power gets too low.

Not as hard to install as you think. To be sure ask over at http://www.digital-car.co.uk/

Oh and batteries rarely run at exactly 12V of their own accord.

There are qute a few free 'train for a century' plans kicking about the net, they would be a good start. Most are 12 week programs.

From the ones I've seen the general theme is start at 75% of what miles you want to ride in a day, then work back from the date knocking off 10% each week and that is your Sunday ride. Ride preferably 3 other days mid week which total the same as the Sunday ride.

You should also taper the last week and take a week off every 4 to recover.

Starting low at 20m / 6m that would take about 17 weeks to reach 75 miles.

Been thinking about this too because sqatting in the garage on your own with a bar doesn't seem such a good idea.

That is till I found out about the 'POWER RACK'!:

    http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3056312805630178719#

Seems like a good idea until I saw the price. Now googling 'Homemade power rack' and getting ideas.

This cable stuff looks cool too for 'core' exercise
