It is gonna get worse but BP is so massive it can easily cope. Read somewhere that the 1 billion loss is like 5% of last year's profit. That's oil for yer.
trail after spooky wood's called is absolutely shite now that it is just a motorway
+ what Northwind said. It's one of the most fun trail centre runs I've done. The fashion I've noticed lately is to take perfectly decent bit of twisty single-track and dump a pile of bricks and football sizes rocks every 20m. And then call it 'technical'.
Technical to me was always steep not pointless justification of 6 inches of travel both ends.
As above, if I wos you and had more than 3 or 4 lenths I'd be back to B&Q for an electric saw, ideally a circuler saw or Mitre Saw. But if you are new to the power tool thing might be best to try a Jig saw. An electruc drill with a screwdriver bit is the next essential.
Lastly, the decking boards are only half the story, you need a fair amount of wood and work for the base you are going to screw the deck to. My tip for that would be hammer a few fence posts in with a sledge hammer and screw the frame to that.
Most babies are born on Tuesday, why? Because doctors done't like working weekends so the c-sections are scheduled after = Tuesday peak. Relevance / c-sec = twins.
Intuitively I'm guessing (because thinking is hard) that this takes us back to 50% (ironically for those that do not understand the 33% thing) because there is an insinuation both were born simultaneously, or was in effect one event?
Reeth to Tan Hill loop tomorrow afternoon. Then thinking of getting up really early one day and driving to Keilder to see what 50 miles feels like on a MTB.
If you are riding fire road and bridleways then it don't much matter, but I'm putting my foot down on some of the bad the rooty stuff at least once most days out. And at speed I reckon I would probably crash if clipped in.
I haven’t actually 'fallen' off in years, but I always use flats. – Except on the road.
Went a couple of years ago to a site called Manor Farm, lakeside and we did swim in it:
It is walkable to the town but you would not want to be carrying shopping, we had a hire car. There were lots of sites in the area, they all looked pretty similier.
Did not take the bike, the biking is up in the mountains, 15 – 30 mins drive in places like Grindelwald. Got the ferry / bus one day, the German bus driver's are mosty twunts, the french orientated much nicer.
Was red hot when we were there, is a geat place to explore, best views ever.
Did a trip last month and on the way up it was just me holding the bike in the corner. On the way down it was hung on a wall in the guard's carriage.
Both times as soon as they saw me on the platform a guard jumped down and escorted to where the bike should go. Both times they checked the ticket reservation before I got on the train.
The first time I 'may' have gotten away without it if I had known which carriage to use and had the bottle to ask people to move off the flipperty up seats – like the guard did, but the second time no chance.
There were 4 of us and we had to stagger trains because they can only take two at a time!
Well I'm with the counter-intuitives on this one. Somebody posted on here not so long ago clip ins automatically give you 30% more pedaling efficiency! So that means my 3 hour loop will take 2 if I swap pedals?
The only times I've found them useful is in long climbs to give your quads a break. You can't use both the same time in a meaningful fashion, and the 'studies' confirm it.
maybe this new style of politics will be for the better, there is no way blair would have been able to be so flippent with our liberties and passed so much bloat-law without such a big majority.
There was something on the local news like this a few months back, someone paid 5k to the wrong number online.
The bank wouldn't say who it went to and this woman obviously just hit a dead end. Must have contacted the press as a last resort but don't think she ever saw the cash again.
Sold one a couple of weeks ago, said pick up only but got lots of requests to post. Relented but winner drove 100 miles to get anyway.
Ended up selling for 50 quid less than I paid for it a year ago, 100 more than I advertised on here and 150 more than I would have accepted. Still waiting for the ebay fees though.
Trick is let lots of clear photos do the talking not loadsa of waffle.
See pic 2 for where I was yesterday, inbetween Innerleithen and Edinburgh on the Coast and Castles.
Loadsa room for comfortable credit card touring, not tried packing a tent but have managed to tie even more bags of stuff on top before. Sturdy enough to take off-road no probs.
If you need more room than they carry I reckon you've over-packed or should be thinking about front panniers to balance it out.
May be worth considering a Lenovo (R61i), they are the same a ibm thinkpads. You can pour coffee on them and stand on it. We've one and it is solid, no signs of wear after about a couple of years. Vista died in under a year mind, put xp on – died, now gone with Kubuntu – no install probs whatsoever and is FAF.
Only downside is it might be a bit on the heavy side unles you get the higher end ones.
