Mine get upgraded a piece at a time, the MTB frame <2 yrs but has some stuff that must be nearly 10 years old. Road bike frame is from 1990s running 2010 SRAM.

Your OP sounds like the personality profile on an ISTP could try Googling that for suitable careers.

With your experience if computers are out (DBA or Sys Architect, data analyst) perhaps self employed bathroom or kitchen fitter, custom wind vanes?

Horse fly innit. Have actually looked down while riding and seen em in full suck mode before. Takes weeks to heal.

This is why I now don’t wear shorts unless its roasting.

The following examples of circumstances that are likely to be characterised as dangerous driving are derived from decided cases and the SGC Guideline ‘Causing Death by Driving’ (http://www.sentencing-guidelines.gov.uk/guidelines):

    aggressive driving, such as sudden lane changes, cutting into a line of vehicles or driving much too close to the vehicle in front;

Since when was snaring illegal? And you can get a permit to shoot ravens. But the only realistic threat to wildlife in the UK is loss of habitat. And it’s the shooting industry that’s the main contributor, not the RSPB/PCA or the public.

The moors would be all grass, hedges ploughed up, no game crops, woodland cleared for mono-culture cropping. You think the food keepers get out of bed all winter to chuck on the ground is somehow exclusive?

Not defending it, just stating the facts. The countryside would be practically barren without it.

I started doing a bit of jogging, seemed to help a little. That and pushing harder with the other leg. Also seat further forward.

He was schooled in Europe, from accounts supposedly shy, a bit lazy and an American Basketball fan. Not that strange.

Publicly having a go at someone powerful is a strategy as old as the hills for politicians to build a reputation. Surveillance has not highlighted any new or unusual troop movements.

Lucy lawless and the bringer of rain, those were the best episodes. Crixus is really stealing it in the last few even though they’ve dumbed him down a bit.

I made the mistake of reading up on the history again so I know it’s not going to end well soon. Apart from the Julius Caesar appearance they seem to make a reasonable effort on that front.

I’d prefer a Jamis over a Dawes, but probably a Vaya over that unless it was heavier touring. A LHT has to be on the list too.

Vaude power ferret ultralight ticks all the boxes for me, <2kg, quick pitch with inner, roomy and and front entrance. But so does a Vango Blade 200 from go outdoors at 1/4 of the price.

Didn’t mind forking out for a trip to Paris that included galleries / Versailles and a Disney day but they were having a laugh for the ski trip at twice the price. Ours also seemed to get a lot out of outward bound places that didn’t cost the earth.

We’d a scout camp come up for £300+ too the other day at some special UK site. That got cancelled after a few complaints so they’re going proper camping in Wales now for about £100.

The calculation is already built in to car prices, second hand anyway. But it will be based on average mileage. 10k sounds less than average so petrol probably cheaper.

I thought the weight of wheels were more important because you have to move them further. For every yard the bike moves forward the rim, tyre etc has to move nearly twice as far, what with the up and down and even backwards. So more energy savings there.

That said for the average rider doesn’t a kg only equal about 10 seconds per hour? Might matter to Cav, but personally I don’t even bother peddling down the hills.

Have used mine with MTB levers, Tekro road levers back to MTB levers and now 105 STIs. Never had problem like that. Although apart from swapping back cable for the front, have always used a new cable for the back and new set of outers.
