We go through a recruitment agency. Is that too obvious? Probably that’s the expensive option.

I only realised recently that you have to use search to find what you need.

My pet h8 is the UK region ‘are you sure’ popup if you select paypal. The OK button doesn’t work and it takes 10 mins until you find the randomly placed invisible click spot. In fairness I blame other internet explorer users for the problem.

Can’t see it being that different to putting smaller tyres on. Think the unit has a head angle of 70, might make it 71 ish. But quite a few 29ers are 72 anyways. Seat will come forward a touch too I suppose. Dunno if it would cause structural issues, but be surprised.

Shoe lace? We’ve all been there. Or on one of mine the crank splines were kernackered.

The only ones in shops will be bundled with over priced naff games.

They are not going to go to release day with no retail stock on shelves, that would be a disaster

Not unlike previous xbox and wii launches.

SLX rear, 105 shifters, 36 (maybe 34?) cassette, 46/34/24 chainset, works fine.

I’ve a todo list in excel usually has 20 or so things on. Col 1 has entries A or B for importance, a being do soon, b being don’t forget . Col 2 is the rank or order to do them in. I add to the list if l get new work during the day that I won’t finish that day.

Update it every night. Each morning I check, rank and sort. Then just pick the most fun task 🙂 but at least I know what deadlines I’m missing.

Am sure I’ve used both the on board and a card for a dual set up. Try enabling it in the bios.

Toptube on that is the same as a medium cotic soul. An Isla Beinn 26 for about that age group has a 53cm 21inch ish virtul TT. Do a search on ebay for jump frame or dirt bike, some are longer than others, but might give you some ideas.

I use http://ariotek.co.uk/web-hosting.php the 35 squid one for multiple domains, the 12/year doesn’t look that different, Guess you probably want a database though. Reliable, been with for years.

My son never had a problem but he’d grown since initial purchase, and presumably Isla spec gripshift for reason. Those shimano integrated are another option but a bit drastic. Single speed?!

I would be scared to use disk brakes on a road bike if they are that much superior to rim brakes.
Brakes that slow me down rather than lock wheels or put me over the bars please.

Are you scared to ride your MTB on the road too 😆

Doesn’t matter in the dry but in the wet discs make sense for road bikes for the same list of reasons (all ready pointed out) that they do for MTBs.

Look at the rear derailleur and get a matching front shifter. For our Beinn I think it was Sram 4 thumb shifter we used, after the grip one woreout / fell apart. What’s a button shifter?

Some interesting numbers here for those that like’em,

    http://www.ukcoal.com/world-coal-statistics.html

Not sure how reliable, our reserves are dwarfed by USA / Russia/ China and just about every other country, but then our use is only a fraction of what we do have. Presumably though some coal is cheaper to produce than others which is why we import.

Also found this so it’s not just all oop north yer know.

There would seem to be some money left in coal

That’s opencast not a pit. The decent easy stuff like that was finished off years ago, what’s left is the bottom of the barrel and they’ll struggle to make a profit.

Am no expert but heard someone say that having been left unmaintained, flooded etc makes ‘re-opening’ impossible.

If it was financially viable to mine coal surly someone would be? Or will be eventually.

http://www.heartinternet.co.uk/domain-names – Full DNS Management – sounds like you’ll be OK. You need a new hosting account / website first though.

Get another web designer and give them the logon to your domain so they can redirect the dns, it’s a 5 min job. They will be quite pleased the spec for a new one is so clear if you just show them your old site. The password for the backend maymake their life a lot easier too.

Durham Constabulary – Minor crash last year, (not my fault). Police were incredibly professional, helpful and courteous throughout the whole thing.

    Who’da thunk it.

Agreed, even if your stereo has USB in will be for iPod. Another idea is one of those Bluetooth receivers like you use in the car, cheap on ebay, not sure of range though. Another by magic one would be two phones, any old thing with WiFi could act as a dlna receiver over wifi with the right app.

Can’t see why not, infact replaced a eight with an slx nine speed cassette from the spares bin the other day, worked fine, although it had downtube shifters.

so pivot saved a lot of effort!

Getting a unique list is easier than you might think. Sort A>Z. In the adjacent col e.g. B2 enter =if(A2=A1,”0″,”1″). Double click to extend the formula. Copy and paste B col as values, all the 1s will be unique so just sort by that col.

Before you can properly begin your manly projects your gonna need a man cave = project 1. Build a shed or drywall the garage, false ceiling, wooden floor, electrics, fridge etc. That should keep you busy a few weeks.

Then you’re gonna need to build a workbench, cupboards & shelves to store all the tools it took to build the man cave and left-overs (rule no.1 you never throw anything away) = project 2.

Then you can start thinking about a proper project, using all the shed off-cuts to make garden furniture / sculptures, kitchens etc. Before you know it you’ll be on an episode of grand designs.

Just been looking into this stuff myself lately. Don’t have a web server yet so have built something similar to what you want in C#, picked it up in a weekend following YouTube tuts.

Asp.net doesn’t look that much of a leap from there. So worth downloading a copy of visual studio to see if it will suit. I prefer Oracle but get the feeling windows and SQL server is easier to integrate with.
