Been thinking about some DT Swiss 485D[/url] myself, seem cheap and light.

Endomondo on your phone would do all that.

Seat further forward, smaller cranks, and spinning.

This place isn’t necessarily the best for benchmarking value. I’ve had no interest in stuff at £300 that’s sold for £450 elsewhere a couple of times.

Cant tell what the wheelset is but I’d guess it’s a heavy one. I say treat yourself to an upgrade.

Starting to understand why they carried axes in to battle. That’s some skill.

Have found that the newer Ubuntu versions are quite resource hungry / slow, worked a treat with the older ones though.

Have tried those Massi before, they are alu with carbon wrap, really stiff and the odd off-set messes up the steering even on a MTB.

Would stick with some steel ones like the Kaffenbacks if you can’t find any cheap carbon.

Pick it up, and carry a walking stick, ideally with a cattle prod taped to the end.

A programmer’s wife tells him: “Run to the store and pick up a loaf of bread. If they have eggs, get a dozen.” The programmer comes home with 12 loaves of bread.

A programmer’s wife sends him to the store and says “get some bread, and while you’re there pick up some eggs” The programmer never came back.

The average midi-chlorian count was a lot higher back in the day.

According the the respective websites both are 71 degs and the frame weights are 272 grams difference, although I’d put more store in personal experience.

Liked the ride of the Soul but am starting to come round to the idea of an alu frame for a 29er.

That Solaris looks the business but on paper they’re about the same geometry and weight as an inbred, as are most steel frames it seems these days, perhaps some genesis ones aside.

Like the less weight but not sure I’d trust a ti MTB. Isn’t the alu harshness meant to be a lot less apparent with bigger wheels?

If we all bought Apple PCs we wouldn’t have these sort of problems to have to solve.

Been getting the scuzz posted combo on phone and now a love links popup that downloads some crap no matter what you press. Not happy.

Heh I was just about to recommend Headhunters. Same guy was in Max Manus also worth a watch. Wolverine is good if you like that sort of thing. Also, Drive (2011).

Did something similar to a beinn 26er after about 18 months. Knobbly tyres, triple cranks, riser bars & paddle shifters. Did get another 18 months out of it. Well worth the investment in the long run.

Steer clear of attempting amateur gas and electrics. Everything else is willingness to have a go and the right tools. Although I have some jealousy admiration for people that can plaster properly.

Ford is one of the lowest? They’re the most common manufacturers on the road, they should be right at the top. And Porsche, a comparatively rare car to be seen on the roads….

I’ve a very poor sarcasm radar, but what did you think the percentages are a percentage of?!

As above, learn C# then move on to asp.net.

Youtube tuts are 10x easier than book learning.
