The article actually says interbreeding was 45k years ago and includes all humans outside of Africa, India, China, Aborigines etc.

More interesting was the recent 7k old guy mentioned, leads to some evidence that about 5k to 7k years ago a small population went on to take ownership of all of Europe.

That was probably something to do with farming, being able to digest starch, milk, and being not dependent on a high fish / meat diet for vit D (white skin). Or steel swords?

Fillings with no anesthetic at all!!

Our village dentist used gas practically every visit. 1…2…. then waking up on the couch at home! Almost looked forward to it.

Building Nov 5th bonfires was entirely the local kids responsibility, cue rival gangs armed with axes hacking down ever larger trees and carrying them through the streets.

    Amateur psychoanalysis hour is over.

    Au contraire!

    Achem, sits up straight.

Well… I’d propose that the motorbike represents a symbol of freedom, escape, excitement and control.

You were manifesting unconscious desires for carefree attitude of your youth. You want to leave behind some troubling thought or responsibility.

You feel like your life is in a rut and hark for the simpler times in when you found pleasure from testing your limits, and the satisfaction of acquiring new skills through physical pursuits.

You look in the mirror and see someone that will never be better than they were, and a dwindling desire for new experiences that worries you.

Your dream is the fear of becoming old.

    Maybe.

Sky ‘accidentally’ gave me the wrong MAC twice, not quick or cheap to have to ring back either unsurprisingly.

When I cancelled the TV it was fortnightly phone calls and offers. 3 months later it was free TV no contract, I caved 😥 stay strong.

I use a Kaff for exactly the above but unless she’s as heavy as me and is gonna do double panniers I suspect it would be a bit over engineered for club rides.

Sounds like a job better suited for the Planet X RT-58 Alloy? Lighter and spare cash for a second set of wheels maybe.

As above, used use a heavy @$$ 6ft metal rod, don’t remember any problems but wasn’t that fussy!

    ^^^ Yes.

WD TV Live here though, doubles up as media player from network drive or usb stick.

p.s. this is well worth watching by the way:

Not bad. Will return the favour with Twilight Samurai.

On demand does takes a little getting used to.

I’d probably have a lot more planet X stuff if I lived closer to one of the shops.

Which kinda leads to the question, why did they open a second shop about ten miles up the road from the first?

That’s going to be a lot of outlets to get country wide.

If it was the right gear, and you only wanted to train for riding a fixie on an infinitely long flat road.

Actually, I do sometimes stick to one except for harder sessions when you feel like lightening up near the end, or doing pyramids. It will restrict you.

It’s not done for .coms is it.

“monkeybusiness dot, com” sounds so wrong so why would they think
“monkeybusiness dot, co dot, uk” is OK.

Was a bit late to the party it seems (as usual), second ride to date on this and still liking it more each time:

Couldn’t say the same for the Inbred (SS) for some reason.

+ stompa if you can find one at the right price, v sturdy.

Had a wooden one from Ikea that was extra wide inc a storage area, but they don’t seem to do them now. Ikea ones are a bit high, so I just cut a foot off each leg. Suited the youngest at his height anyway.

“This is a huge problem, we believe that perhaps £500m worth of gas and electricity is stolen across the industry each year.

“In terms of what that means for the customers, it’s potentially £30 a year on their bills and it’s money they shouldn’t have to pay.”

Inside Out was shown examples of bicycle inner tubes being used to divert supply.

It’s one way to recycle em.

Guess it makes perfect sense if you have the legs. OP convinces me to think about it for the commuter anyway.

This is technically cheating though. Because your losing functionality.

It’s like putting 23c tyres on or binning the brakes.

You’re gonna be slower on anything hilly.

Following this logic you might as well just run up and down the trails holding just a pair of (cut down) carbon bars and save yourself 27lbs.

Presumably you’ve tried fixing the bad boot sector.

Can you not get another sata cable plug them both in and pull the files on to the bootable one? Or try booting from usb and getting them.

Depends on the cranks I thought? You can add spacers to suite the bike. Is it a road or a MTB crankset?

I’ve used these road ones on the swap-out version if it helps:
