A Nissan Nivara about an hour ago, overtaking a parked car on a narrow road. In response to my dismay at a near head on collision I was duly informed I should have stopped to allow him to pass, and while speeding off that I am apparently a dick-head. :?

Try 90mm stem and compact bars mate. I run 90mm myself as I have a short reach. Cheap compact bars available from Planet X

This is me too and also 6ft on TT 56cm. I like to take in the scenery.

From my experience, it goes for your throat, causes wheezing and leaves you open to chest infections.

You know you’re not meant to inhale, just absorb from the mouth. Also, thought it was just vegetable oil, nicotine and flavouring. Agree is just as addictive but does give you option to taper down slowly. Nicorette Inhalators are good second step if you can last two or three weeks on those. They are a lot less addictive.

I ended up up the free trial even after making a point of trying to avoid it. Took some Goggling to work out how to cancel too. I avoid buying from Amazon now as a result, is all very sharp practice, but they’ll continue as long it yields profits.

All of this flapping and posturing and intellectual debate has no more significance than following a sports team or playing Dungeons and Dragons.. there’s some great minds on here and the vast majority have been duped into filling their heads with this puerile nonsense.

Incorrect, you are a victim of Social Constructionism, all of your opinions are the product of your class and limited by only personal interactions. Like most of the middle classes experience selection bias has led to a fundamental belief you are living in an egalitarian society. You Sir need to check your privilege.

Saw one in HomeSense this week (York) bout 7ft tall, looked fairly legit but suspect it would not be getting any bigger and not that cheap.

IME steering is twitchy and TT length feels wrong even with barends, probably because you cant cover the brakes or change gear from there like you can on the hoods.

At least once a week pass the same cars parked on a cycle lane thats busy with kids going to school. For a whole 2 weeks a builder’s van was forcing them out into the road. The owners couldn’t give a flying F. One of these days I’m gonna take a screwdriver with me.

There’s a fair few things going on in York including a pre-event Womens race, and a few street parties, that’s where I’m planning to be be. But also heard about a Bike Fest in sunny Selby on the radio: http://www.selby.gov.uk/news/media-releases/selby-cycle-festival

That was the last one?! Characters certainly had more depth than those on Poldark, but that’s not saying much. Couldn’t help thinking they should have made a little more effort to be self sufficient, foraging, planting crops or hunting.

Personally I think Access is for talented Amateurs anything that requires more than a spreadsheet should be a proper database MSSQL or Oracle + appropriate web front end. If your not an IT person why are you taking on a developer role rather than passing requirements to the IT dept? Restrictive policies are there to stop business processes sitting on poorly developed unsupported software solutions.

Rant over, ‘SAMS Teach Yourself Microsoft Office Access in 24 Hours’ is a good book. Just get a simple few builds under your belt and how to build the one you want for work will fall into place.

Looked to me like the lorry driver realised he was in the slip lane last second and veers off over chevrons etc. Probably too busy checking his mirror to avoid side swiping cars to spot the cyclists.

    Ever heard of banking regulation?

I heard that my sister-in-law got a 20k bonus this year, she works in banking, in HR. I guess that’s a rise in living standards for some.

A predators real skill is selecting the right victim.

This constituency based map gives a more realistic picture. Pattern looks to be dye’ed in the wool Shires and apart from North of the wall and the iron islands, Lannister support waines-off in urban areas, even Kings Landing. Cant see the lib dems lasting in wilding territory especially now White Walkers are on the move.

I remember Quin-o-a (as opposed to Qwin-wah) being used as a game crop because it was so cheap and easy to grow. Wasn’t considered the right quality for humans.

I may be missing something but the amount of media space drawing special attention to women in sport is, to me, sexist to a significant degree.

Are you against publicity or segregation in youth races because their ageist?

Sundays will pre-date even pagan rituals, probably its an inconvienent truth that slaves need one day off a week to avoid being worked to death or just giving up.

Pro-ratering wont ever work completely across all professions. Be quite interesting though if all society was divided up into 7 different work week factions.

Didn’t Russia try to introduce a 10 day week once?

It looks like (as YouGov result) the next coalition govt might come from Tory and UKIP because SNP will wipe the floor with Labour while the rest will have difficulty to master enough seats

Current predictions are actually Lab Minority Gov with a good chance of Lab SNP colalition, Alex Salmond as Deputy PM
