    No ‘maleists’?

    Equality for Men

    Men going their own way

    Men’s Rights Movement

    Red Pill

    Father’s for justice

The list goes on.  Men being seen as expendable and males as toxic is endemic in society.  Double standards abound.

Although arguably it is women that are infantiled more and divorced from responsibilities.  Just look at how they receive less jail time for the same crimes as men.  The government are even talking of not sending them to prison at all:

Have tried Echos and Google home.  Alexa is much better for conversation, random questions etc. Benefits from being able to pretend you are on the Enterprise by calling it ‘Computer’.

Google is better for music, have Chromecast on stereo, and can play own playlists as well as Google music (for monthly fee). The Amazon music with Prime is pretty poor selection and limiting for more than one device.

Plugs and light bulbs etc all appear to be compatible with both.  If you go Google with Chromecasts you can cast using your phone and laptop too. I imagine echos work with firesticks too, but why would you with the remote.

Have Hive heating too but it is easier just to use the thirmostat. Same for light switches most of the time tbo.

The Women’s Equality Party told the Times newspaper that the decision to appoint Mr Leighton “seems at odds with [AllBright’s] mission to change the way the world thinks about female-led businesses”.

It has been illegal to discriminate based on sex since the 1970s, sounds like the Women’s Equality Party are a bit behind the times.

Moved fairly recently.  A call to the Estate Agent is enough, they are bad for not getting proof and plenty will take your word for it when you don’t have funds which causes delays.  So make it clear you do and have sold your house etc, also find out the state of your chain as this will all sway the buyer.  We turned down a higher offer from a buyer that had not even accepted an offer on theirs. We were also asked to take off the market which in reality means Sold STC on Right Move etc and taking the sign down, no more viewings.  Solicitors will ask for official mortgage docs and funds later down the line.

On the house we bought first offer was 15k below asking and went up every few days in smaller and smaller increments till they caved, took a while and ended up pretty close to the asking anyway, although they did state ‘Offers Over’ and were initially very put out we did not abide by that, lol the cheek.  I’m sure the estate Agent would have let us know if any other offers had come up between times.

Also, call your Solicitor minimum once a week for an update because they all seem to prioritise based on harassment.  And don’t panic when you get snotty letters from theirs about covenants and certificates, they are not deal breakers, the buyers are most likely not as obsessed with them and just as keen to get moved.

Sounds like you need to upgrade to a database, or google group and count in excel.

Is there any one you can borrow a Rottvieler from for a few weeks?  For the company of course.  Rent a dog should really be a thing.

Cycle heaven as above for the food if nothing else, and great bikes upstairs.  Take the scenic route along the Ouse from Clifford’s tower and turn off just before the millennium bridge.  Don’t be confused by the get cycling one, it’s round the corner.

From the end of the shambles head down Fossgate, call into electronic bike shop then Re-cycle for second hand stuff (easily missed down alley),  keep going till you hit the Walmgate, cross the road to Cycleworks.

From Walmgate you can walk along the walls past Waitrose and halfords, keep going along the Foss, join the walls again to the Giant and Liv shops, then your practically back to the Minster. Detour to Cyclestreet on the way if you want but not very scenic.

Here in lies the crux of your issue, some may say prejudice. Someone who identifies as female, has completed gender reassignment is female. Legally, if not genetically. If you don’t find them sexually attractive, that’s fair enough, but if you DID find them sexually attractive, until you find out about their chromosomes, then that’s NOT fair enough, and says something a little bit, err, enlightening about you.

That you’re heterosexual?  Because nature or nurture I guarantee you the vast majority will feel this way making it a ‘normal’ reaction. And isn’t this one of the points of the protesters?

Meh forget laptops.  An i3 desktop outperforms an i7 laptop by miles, even with the same ram, ssd etc.

For 600 squids you could get a cheap gaming pc and a 32 inch monitor.

Just being aware of that negates the facade. You need to try harder.

But that was all done without ‘assistance.’

I’m sure ‘gravity’ would have provided Mike some assistance on the downhills?

Do the ebike thing. Sounds ideal for your milage  and will minimise injury potential (think of your knees).

Went to a talk today at local bike show, shop owner guy says they are flying out the door and manufacturers projecting massive growth next few years particularly for commuting.

What’s wrong with some nested if statements?

Better idea could be ask IT dept to provide a data entry solution to a database that you can use as a source for producing reports.

Edit, someone beat me to it.

Some might say he has a bit of an agenda.

Population growth will peak soon enough, already shrinking in Europe if you discount migration.

Reliance on fossil fuels is a matter of time too.  Solar and batteries are the next big thing.

There are methods to halt or even reverse global warming, a nuclear winter?  Well something similar like releasing paticals into the atmosphere.  Or giant space mirrors?

So no one going to mention the politically correct make over?  Not the the original was a bit too far the other way.  But the matriarchal family, beta husband, inexplicable black middle daughter and female doctor Smith?

What next a woman Doctor Who?

Wasn’t there a study by a guy who measured if how much room drivers gave you was relative to what you are wearing, and he found hi-viz no difference. Helmets made them drive closer.  And the biggest positive difference by a large margin was when he wore a long blonde wig.

Capitalism is bad and inherently flawed.

Wood burners are bad your health and the environment.

    Cycle helmets should be compulsory.

    You only need one bike.

    Some wheel sizes are betterer.

    Steel is real.

    Brad and Froomey are British.

Get a custom Ti frame built in China. £1k will easy cover the costs and you can spec every detail.

It is a bit more of a wait and work to research angles, tube sizes and knock something up in rattlecad.   But don’t underestimate how rewarding the first ride is when it all works (and looks great).

Plus in the end you will have everything you want with no compromises.

One dimensional charactors,  a plot from a youtube short and punctuated with bizarre bean flicking scenes.  Got bored halfway though, never bothered to watch the rest. I at least finished Birdman.

Found the first few episodes difficult to follow, stuck with it because of the visuals.  By 5 things started to fall in to place, the flashbacks helped, the mumbling didn’t.  Boob count seemed to become exponential.

Certainly worth seeing through.  Only bit that still confuses is why Kovac kept talking about being someone’s mother?

Can’t speak re full sus but for HTs I’ve always found hedging towards smaller is easier to adjust and more fun to ride.

The cast on paper is good, seems to have a relatively decent budget. Can’t put my finger on why it seems so unconvincing. Poor direction?

Hurdy Gurdy Man theme tune doesn’t help either.

I got a GTC pro disc and really like it. Good riding position for commuting plus 142 rear, thru Axel’s, flat mounts, Internal cables etc.

Plenty of scope to knock off a few lbs from the stock parts, wheels as mentioned, tyres, carbonise the chunky post stem, bars, new discs and what not.

The value of management courses are generally to reassure employers, if a management position comes up they will consider a more qualified person as externally validated. Removing a degree of responsibility for decision making from themselves.

Bottom feeders going for the granny market, rediculas contention ratios and hidden caps. If you are anything other than a light user they don’t want to know and will even ban you. Why you think they are so cheap.

This week’s episode had a bit more pace. Not sure why we need to follow the trafficked girl, perhaps she fits in with a bigger plot later?

Also I predict that woman bodyguard days are numbered.

Is a 12 speed that different to a 10? My recent comedy of errors fitting a new one meant I had to cut and re-join 3 times. Just pushed out a pin then pushed it back in. Never even tried to undo the joiner link (this time), blood blisters from pliers are not fun.

    Also, one link 🤔

How much of your IT operations are on these platforms – just a few side projects or main business critical stuff?

There has been a big shift the last 2 years, the big cloud providers with more transparent pricing are really highlighting the poor decision making and rip-off contracts for hosted stuff. Contracts are not getting renewed and the playing field has been leveled. Is good for the small guys who now have a reliable platform to back them up.

Have used commercial IaaS for enterprise level stuff, big Oracle apps, warehouses etc. Not a pleasant experience. End up with 3 or more tiers of IT admin to wade through and performance terrible.

More recently smaller projects using AWS or Azure both in house and via contractors. Smaller IaaS and PaaS. All good. Also now looking at SaaS for data processing and BI.

IME best not try to reinvent the wheel.

At what point did I become conscious, is it like a flame passed from one torch to another? Or does it not really exist, more like a series of animated dominoes.

Ours of ten years finally gave up the ghost last year. Thought we’d give one of those Sharks a try.

Managed to break it in about 10 days. Took it back and swapped for another Dyson.

I found the same so went to the LBS who built up on open pros. Not the cheapest option though.
