Ive an 08 Mondeo estate and it did the same on the first set in 12mths. 4 wheel alignment done and new tyres and that had resolved it in the 2 years since.
I hit/ straddle square speed bumps all the time (not to mention pot hole galore). Not made a difference, all good since tracking done.

And… Done. 100% today and it hurt, but 4 more PRs so yes the FTP retest is going to be a goood thing.

Slightly jealous there Chef, I’m in the garage at -1 with gloves and frozen toes. Still dripping really badly after the first step ups. Need a more sensible area. Going to bed now. Cheers all

Feeling really jealous of those who’ve finished, well done all, an epic effort. Chapeau.

Got a Buzzrack, well made, works well & v quick to fit. Nice tilt mechanism, but as you have an estate like me, it’s a bit irrelevant as the boot lid is going out more than up, so still won’t pass the tilted rack. Need someone with a thule to confirm if same issue exists for estates.
    Still love it though 🙂

PS, I live on southern edge of Sheffield and we had 12″ Thursday, melteddown to 8 Friday. So expect hope & edale to have good levels.

At a guess from many years experience, it should mostly be compacted snow from walkers today. There was to much snow to have become ice that quickly. Give it a go, the compacted snow is amazing fun and quite grippy. You Scott over boggy bits as well. If I was home this weekend, I’d be out there!

Violator just broke me. Started the day at 90% in TR and couldn’t hold it in the constant on off switches. My bodies just not designed (trained) for that sorry of sprint intervals. Gonna break the rules and do halfnhalf later. Sorry.

Not yet tried a sufferfest video, though have bought tomorrow’s. Got by till now on 24 box set & YouTube Hawaii ironman videos.

Switched from M&S to Aviva here following an earlier thread. Multiple bikes, in garage, very similar to old M&S cover.
All sorted. The cover doesn’t quite seem enough through the website but they have cheap extensions when you speak to someone

As above, more likely to be a problem with connect that they will get round to fixing.

Have to say Garmin seem to be in more of a hurry to release buggy updates from Connect to the Bluetooth integration on a number of its devices. Feels like they’re quite stretched whilst trying to keep up with apple, fitbit, strava et al in the social and connectivity stakes.

Similar to Google but with less resources to respond. Core products work well, but all the apps and online stuff is a work in progress.

Look for you local nhs Iapt (improving access to psychological therapies) team. They have a range off options you can access to help understand what’s wrong and how you go about fixing it…
I think you can self refer, doesn’t require GP.

Isn’t off-road so weather and conditions dependant that the same track week to week isn’t comparable, so an the total or annual kom contest is far more about if someone reasonably fast go to the track on the right day?

Mondeo estate & buzzrack here. Tilt doesn’t go far enough. Would suggest if you have an estate / people carrier (any near vertical tailgate) then you may struggle with tilt.
    Otherwise, absolutely love it!

Aviva, unspecified numbers of bikes, up to £3.5k, in garage, with away from home to. Sorted.

Sorry to hear that spooky. My N4 also did the deed last night and now it’s lovely. Even kinda like the chrome tabs in the apps list, just would like each tab to use the chrome icon.

Suggsey, just about to start looking as I will be moving from m&s. Did you get the positive assurances that multiple bikes in the garage will be covered beyond the £2k garage limit?
    Otherwise it looks very reasonable
    Cheers

Also malaga castle is excellent when junior gets older, our 3&5yr olds loved running round the old walls (even in the April rain)

El Torcal national park is impressive with a good little walk through the limestone pinnacles and interesting rock formations.
Antequera just beyond will consume the rest of the day with churches eating etc.

Done a fair few. My thoughts:
Swim smooth approach has now been adopted by British triathlon as it’s open water focused. Mrs has used them and had improved beyond recognition, bit get a 1-2-1 rather than learning bad habits that need to be unlearnt.
Look more into run-walk strategies. You won’t run it all so start getting into the right approach now.
Have a look through the http://www.tritalk.co.UK forums for training and race advice. It’s a wealth of info, support and encouragement.

Pace always put rim brakes on the reverse on the principle that the wheel rotation would help counteract the forces trying to bow the stanchions outwards, giving better breaking power.

Yep, same for Strava. Some sites have started paying garmin royalties for the new api. For now the only option is to uninstall express and go back to ant agent

Have you done a direct comparison of the positions of your good ‘fs bike and the hard tail to see what the difference is? Bar to saddle distance, bars to saddle drop/ rise, spirit level on saddle and pedal to saddle distance?

Don’t assume everyone else has a greater need than you.
I’ve just had ankle surgery after putting off a problem that ‘kept getting better’ or was intermittent for a number of years. It culminated in a miserable 2013 from a running perspective as I didn’t get it dealt with early enough. 🙁 If you are a racer that’s prob not the outcome you’re looking for.

    +1 for bam74 and thisisnotaspoon.
As long as you turbo is consistent and you use same tyre pressure & roller pressure just use it.
May not be perfect ‘watts’ but you will train consistently and have a measureable baseline to work against.

Google ‘trigger point’ and also ‘MSF using foam roller’
Lots of good info out there.

Some suggest doing a higher cadence for the last 5 mins on the bike may help as well.
Also worth checking your actual pace when you start running as people often go out too fast, even though HR is normal. Practice makes it easier, along with a sprinkle of MTFU 8)

As they say, Fit is everything. slightly too small and you won’t be able to move. Slightly too big and it will suck up water and weigh you down. That’s before you get to arm flexibility, and working out if you need more or less leg buoyancy.
Best bet is always to try them on first.

So use the outer rings on a triple, and switch the 3mm spacer on your BB to the non drive side, checking the cranks won’t foul should only put you 1 mill out?
Can’t be that easy can it?

SBZ, CV fitness is prob the trouble. You need to take it really easy and steady to let the tendons adapt to the impact, hence run / walking for at least a few weeks before considering just running.
Alongside that, do eccentric calf stretches as a preventive measure.

Too many of my riding mates have taken up running, got carried away as lungs & legs are good, only to in.jure themselves quite quickly and give up.

    Good luck with the du’s.

Hi, We bought them back from Canada a few years ago. Quick call to council environmental health and they came round and sorted it out for free. They didn’t re-appear after 2 rounds of spraying. For good measure they did next door as well, so I hope you get on well with the neighbours!!!
