She has been to Swinley, did enjoy it, so has mtb potential, although not currently into anything to technical.
    .
She's rather active so has the fitness level to keep up on most firetrack type riding

Fantastic news! It's the most amazing feeling in the world (written with baby TB fast asleep on my lap)

Ours is now 12 weeks old and I'll never tire of her gorgeous little smile when she wakes up and spots you for the first time. Or watching her grow and develop every day!

Best days of my life ever!

If you're breastfeeding a breastfeeding pillow is a godsend, went away for xmas without mine, and I realised how much I used it.

If you decide to go the reusable nappy route get a few to try second hand, I got a load of kushies off freecycle, but due to a baby with skinny legs they just leak constantly, have tried them at different stages as she's gotten bigger, but have now given up on them.

Oh and get some bibs when you're breastfeeding you and baby both make a heck of a mess, we go through a couple a day but saves numerous changes, due to wet grows.

Second the pre cooked meals, I did a 10 day supply and it was a life/sanity saver.

And above all do what feels right for you, I co slept after the 4am feed as it meant we both got more sleep, now she tends to happily fall back asleep on her own.

    Enjoy it and good luck

Napisan for getting out poo stains, or just buy all yellow clothes

    Second the nasal aspirator

A swing, it's the height of lazy parenting, but means I can put her down in it to do some chores

Breast pump, steriliser, and a couple of bottles, helps when the missus is engorged and nice to give you a chance to feed the baby/take over to give her a long needed undisturbed bath

Lots of cheap vests and baby grows they will get ruined with poo stains and something cheap can be cut off. Oh and on the baby grow note, don't get side button ones get ones the button all the way up the front, they are a nightmare to get off when you have poo leakage

More than two changing towels, poo explosions are a common occurrence

    Spotting a common theme here?

Join up the huggies, pampers and boots clubs for loads of vouchers and freebies

And join freecycle, it's a serious money saver, just picked up enough clothes to last our little girl until she's 2!

Nezbo – you need to create a query that looks for the specific criteria you're after (records or rows in data view) and includes the fields you want to update (columns) you can then use find/replace to replace the values that you want.

    .
    something like this
    SELECT Table1.col1, Table1.col2, Table1.col3
    FROM Table1
    WHERE (((Table1.col1)="f"));
    .

or this if you want to be able to enter different options
    .
    SELECT Table1.col1, Table1.col2, Table1.col3
    FROM Table1
    WHERE (((Table1.col1)=[enter Value]));
    .
and then you can manually update what you need

You can even nest the query into a form if that makes it easier for you to work with.

    Not sure if that helps?

trying to understand what you want to do…

Do you want to populate all records with the same data in a specified field?

Or do you mean you want to select specific records, and then populate a field on all those records with the same data?

    Hi Bunnyhop,

Just over two weeks left – although Doctor seems to think it could be any day now.

Trying not to moan too much about feeling fat, grumpy and tired. (also trying not too think too much about the actual labour – a stork will bring her right?????)

I have to say when it comes to winter stuff I swear by guys clothes, it's just that bit longer in the back, and I find I don't get the freezing cold strip across the base of my back (yes ok so I'm buit like

    (just not as cute)

But I do find the guys stuff is a bit bigger so is a more comfortable fit when putting on top of other layers

Couldn't live without my Altura leggings, although after several years they now have a hole in them, and tbh I'm not sure I'll fit in them ever again 🙁

A second vote for M&S and John Lewis, but don't get a bra at the first fitting, do a fitting at both and then see how you feel about each of the options.

M&S can vary greatly in their offering, and will try and sell a slightly bigger bra if they don't have your size in stock.

Remember once you have the bra on to do a full range of streaches to ensure the bra doesn't ride up or move about too much, and always jump up and down on the spot to make sure it is giving the right support.

Depending on how erm "big" she is she may find a halter neck more comfortable than a tradtional front/back fastening bra

    Hope that helps

Thanks for taking the time to post the update, I'm sure you have more than enough on your plate without feeling you have to keep us in the loop, but it's really appreciated.

Great news about the wedding, will definitely be toasting you from Berks.

As others have said, I'm sure you'll be back on the bike before you know it.

I've read snippets of this, but just wanted to suggest something like this?

It doubles as a play nest as well, various places from M&P, to Mothercare and ELC all do their own versions.. Just an idea as it may help her sit up unaided without falling over?

Good luck to both of you (or should that be all 4 of you?)

We have a M&P Pliko P3 from freecycle so didn't cost a penny.

It's not the lightest thing in the world, but I can lift it one handed into and out of the boot, it doesn't have a seperate pram unit, but the base reclines fully so you can use it as a flat pram, great for from birth, you can also replace the pushchair part with the P3 car seat should you wish.

I have not used it yet as baby is not yet due, but have tested that I can collapse and expand it with one hand – which I figured was a useful test

We have also got a Jane matrix carseat (also from freecycle) which is a lay falt car seat so for longer journey's is better for the babies back, it is quite heavy, but can be used as a moses basket style bed if you are staying over and don't want to take a travel cot. The Jane also can form part of a travel system.

    Hope that helps

Ok so it's not a pint, but I don't drink pints. Also haven't drunk Vodka and anything for many years now either

Welcome, make sure if you ever post a photo of your bike, that you have first mowed the lawn, painted the fence, or if indoors made sure you have furniture and curtains that meet everyone's exacting standards.

Best film I've seen in ages, well worth the trip to the town centre on a Saturday.

(or as us saffers used to say "I went to the bioscope to see a great filem")

Enjoyed it on so many levels.

Doubt it would have worked so well if it had been set anywhere other than SA, would have probably seemed too unreal.

Billy – did you see the clip (I say clip it was about 45 minutes iirc) done in a Carte Blanche documentery style that did the rounds a few years ago, very similar vein to the movie, I couldn't help wonder if that was a viral too?

Definitely well worth the 90 minutes of your time to go and watch it.

    Congrats Mountain Monkey!

Currently at 34 weeks and I rode until I was about 5 months, I stuck mainly to blue and did a bit of red, but decided that anything that made me feel like I might fall off, was definitely a no go and best to walk around.

I gave up commuting to work, long before I gave up mountain biking as I have to ride on a busy A road and have been knocked off my bike before so it was a risk I was just not prepared to take.

As bunnyhop says, try not to get out of breath, and try and keep you heart rate as low as you can. And make sure you keep hydrated.

Just listen to your body, and you'll know when it's too much.

and congrats again – it's a fantastic time

Another vote for Neil Gaiman, love his stuff, have read all/most of it now.

I'm about 1/3 of the way through the disc world series myself. Only started reading it about 18 months ago, but loving it so far.

Agree with Northwind on Rankin, I know some people love it, but I just don't find it funny at all and a slog to read.

if it only opens in safe mode, try running detect and repair, and then close it down properly (ie wait for outlook.exe to disappear from your task list) Then re open it.

I'm pretty much screwed – I'm in the living room and my best bet is a 8 inch fire iron! As long as they have short arms I may stand half a chance.

Our agents tried the same thing, wanting to charge us and the landlord about the same ammount to renew. So we just renewed directly with him.
