Try a lazy bleed first. Pull brake lever back to the bar, secure in place (I use velcro strap) then wait overnight or a bit longer. Often fixes the problem

Have you considered Sarn Helen – very nearly a north south coast to coast

Don’t know, only done 4000km for far. Still plenty left

I’m with b33k34, I too had similar issues when a fusion drive failed. Interestingly they can replace just the failed part so not so much ‘fusion’ as ‘2 stuck together’

    Don’t bother!
The H8 is currently on offer at £100 off RRP, so £279 BUT if you use the trade up offer you get your money off of the full price, £379. IE you get all the hassle of the trade-up, delays and loss of an old camera, for nothing!

If buying off the GP site sign up for GP plus first, then remember to buy spare batteries WITH the camera – seems the only way they will post them to you

I agree with the philosophy that the bladder is a consumable, but at £30 for the bladder and a new Osprey for £45 the new pack is attractive

Two weeks on and several more ruined rides. Decided to strip and clean everything and start again, this time, while everything was clean I spotted pink sealant coming through the sidewall. Guess this was the issue and sidewall flex causing to fail while riding!

Currently inflated and holding air well. Might try tapping the valve in a bit tighter as it does seem to rotate a bit

The tape was shop fitted about 6 months ago, but suppose it could be iffy. Would this give the odd, only leaks while being ridden, symptoms?

I am guessing that you are on Windows? If so, this will not help, but if on Apple….
Quicktime will record the screen, or any part of it and iMovie will do the editing for all the needs you outline – all stuff that comes as standard.

iPad Pro is a brilliant bit of kit, but not worth it for your stated use. Go with the current generation 9.7, its more than up to the job

I don’t think toe 2017 10.5 pro has much of an advantage over the 2018 base model, both use the A10 processor, the pro sports an X but I expect the 10.5 pro will be less capable than the 2019 A11 base model

There was a large, but it went within the hour

    That is tempting

I have tried going for a ride, several times. Fortunately it holds air well enough to make this possible, but it has not fixed the underlying issue. Perhaps have another go with more sealant!

Time are really good. Nice range of movement when clipped in and seem to last for ages, my oldest pair are close on 20 years now!

SE is definitely better than the 6, unless you really want that larger screen.

Try to avoid the 16gb version as its a bit limited

They are pretty resilient at working, even through extension leads – just won’t get the max possible speed

Is SportPursuit always so random with delliveries?

Yes, its the price you pay for them being cheap

Fair point, the car dealer was trying to interest me in something £30-£40k so appreciate there is a bit more flex in the system. Appreciate its not a really fair comparison, but a very different approach.

    Snowcard.

Having seen them deliver a fantastic service a few years back when my friend broke himself rather badly

The few times this has happened to me I have done an on the fly single speed conversion. Its not great, but it does get you home faster than a walk

I used parcel2go and DPD, no problems and good price.

TF tuned returned it vis DPD as well, so I guess they trust them.

Thinking of selling my Cotic Soda in size large, pretty light and could be made a lot lighter with investment. Let me know if you are interested

Endura sizing is weird, go with what they suggest, you will be a medium

True, but I like to discount on the 2017b Segment / Four,

Thanks for that endorsement of the segment, not helped my decision making but good to know before committing.

How tall are you / what size is the bike? I am 6’1″ so according to Orange either the L or XL would fit, but as I have long legs thinking of XL

I have a FB charge 2, my wife a FB Alta HR both do everything you are after.

The Charge 2 has a little more functionality, which I rarely use. The Alta HR is a slimmer and less noticeable device so its almost a fashion choice. Both work well, seem reliable and have battery life in line with manufacturer claims. The Charge 2 links to phone GPS to give a better view of bike rides – with a map, just like Strava

Check for deals, we got both of these for <£100 before Xmas

Stop running parallels and use the Mac version of Word.

Not spotted any compatibility issues since about Office 2011 or perhaps 2008

Buy a mixed pack of mounts off eBay or Amazon, see which you like then get decent versions of those when the cheap ones break

Shimano 10 speed road/MTB are not compatible. I bought a new rear mech once I had worked this out.

Sony A5100 is smaller and cheaper than the A6000, but with pretty much the same internals (just lacking the viewfinder). Over budget, but could get there in next weeks sales bonanza

Thanks Northwind, less inspired by that as it sounds a lot of work and still quite expensive.
What do you think my chances are of persuading the main dealer to ‘add it in the next time they are doing one that colour’ for a few extra quid. Its a common enough colour, so they probably do one every few weeks

Ticks have eight legs, they are spider relatives not insects. No idea on size, but in the UK ticks are <3mm across even when fully fed
