    bruders

i can confidently say that going away riding solo is no problem at all as you are out there meeting new people who all share the mutual love for riding, after a few years going away in groups i went out to france solo last year and had one of my best riding trips ever

if you can give me more info on the type of riding you do and the level you ride at i will be more than happy to try advise you

    cheers

well there we have it, im sold on the GT, have wanted one for a while anyway and the insurance is reasonable for me and my youthfull age (especialy combined with 6 points)but the more i think about it i have to go JTD if im stomping up and down to aberdeen from newcastle etc……cant see my new boss being overly amused about fueling a v6 lol
now to decide if i keep the little 1.7dti van, i would most likley cry if i sell it!! and i didnt even cry when i sold my mk1 gold GTi!

Indeed i will be sporting a company fuel card to feed it and im also exeptionaly anal about the condition of my cars, perhaps the old astravan might have to stay in order to preserve my perfect red leather interior :o oh yes and i have been reading bad things about the v6 today, might buy the JTD and get it remaped……will be quicker at real world speeds than the V6 anyhow

my old mavic hubs used to do this, had to fit new freehub bearings and all was well again, i would certainly say take car if using it as it may begin to stick and this can cause some nasty chain suck and worse case lock your wheel up

ha ha druidh your comment is very valid, i phrased that wrong i ment that i wanted to ride trails that aint hammered all the time like trail centers and main stream DH tracks……..
not new to xc as such just new to actualy enjoying the climb as part of a ride and not finding every excuse under the sun o go ride glentress etc rather than go slog it out hunting for new things to ride. think im going to get the OS map collection out one night this week and check out the contours………

my fiance recently quit (she is now 4 months clean of the evil sticks) she tried all of the replacement techniques such as patches etc and failed on each, eventualy she found this why quit[/url] watched one or two of his videos a day and read the articles, it helps you understand the power of nicotine and the mental changes your brain has to undergo during the quit process and will help you through it,

    good luck

I too enjoy the easy maintenance i.e. throw away joys of safety specs and there is an endless supply of them in the room next to me……..currently using a new type of wrap around and they are tip top for mud protection duties
