Thanks Steve I will give him a shout, I understand there is lots of places to stay just wondered if anywhere provided a complete package where they ran accommodation and also provided what I’m looking for in guides and coaching.

Post looks like its just come from the shop however I suppose the inside of the seat tube is smothe….think I will try a different post before I rough the inside of the tube up though as that could cause a very small but still possibly problematic loss of material

thats what im trying to work out……what do people see as overprice, you are correct everyone’s opinion is going to be different but its nice to see what the overall view is.

Im doing this research as I find the cost of a lot of sporting products (not just cycling items) ridiculous and have an interest in what others may think.

Nothing sinister as your comment appears to insinuate…….. apologies if im incorrect

Not worth it. The saving is as good as gone once her magesty takes £1058 off me to bring it into the country. Don’t think it’s worth the hassle, cheers for the link that was perfect

if you looking for a car that drives well and carries the family around its the boyo although i would most likley buy a golf GTi but purely because im a VW boy

other options if you didnt want to spend much, and they are a fair bit less than the ST is a megane 225 but all depends what your after, hope that helps you a little

to be fair CRC run products at huge discounts anyway, im certainly not opposed to getting emails offering me further savings if i spend a little more than i might have done, at the end of the day its beneficial to all of us as consumers

Yeah everything has been sent through eBay, he had a feedback of 6 at 100% so not amazing but thought I would give him a go, have had 0 response from him so should be a clear cut case……sick to detach of no bike due to no shock so I’m almost on the verge of buying new from tf as shocks to fit 05 enduros are hard to come across

Consider a cyclocross bike perhaps, at least then you know that the bike will ride properly with drops, just a though

Yeah the whole of fall line is sadly in a mess at the moment, it’s the only one of the “off piste” trails I ever found at gt thus the reason for this thread…….might have to head up fr a scout around to see if I can find the other two (I won’t be riding if closed) but still after some clues, been watching a few vids and secrets looks good

    timthetinyhorse

Take it the fall line is the uber steep trail down to the ponds?? Love that trail! Had a few less experienced mates out with me not so long ago who thought they could kill it but instead killed themselves lol

Closures are all good I don’t want to damage anything, just need a clue as to where secrets & lies / broon troot start……what is the super steep straight line trail that comes out at the little lake?

    timthetinyhorse

Note to other posters mentioning inners, I ride there plenty too so if anyone knows any of the natural stuff there I would love to see some of that too

    timthetinyhorse

Guys thanks for all the advice, I spend a fair amount of time in the GT/Inners being from Newcastle so just looking for different things to ride when I’m up, planning a stag weekend up that way mid June so would like a couple of variations like secrets etc to keep things interesting especially worth a couple of days riding…..will be stealing clear of anything like secrets in the wet if they are easily damaged as I k ow we hate people riding our local trails when wet as it causes too much damage just wanted to try find the trail entrances ready for the short dry season we get,

ijs445ra – I will drop you a email later today when I’m not browsing from a phone at 5:30am, I havnt re-read anything iv written above but no doubt it makes no sense (I can barley keep my eyes open this jour on NS)

    Cheers
