At work at the mo, but will post one soon.

Little more description. I've cut 5mm off the top of the lever on top of the post, the one the cable attaches too, and wound the adjuster screw (on the same lever) in, so that the lever points slightly forward. Gives about 10mm of clearance.

Just a little update, hopefully it's helpful.

I adjusted the lever and cut 5mm off the top, which worked great during a fabulous day at Afan yesterday.

Hoping to transfer my maps to new Desire soon. Can't wait to see it on that excellent screen.

Have you found a Box-it type mount for it yet?

I've got cable remote, I think that's the problem. I think I can modify the lever, but just wanted to check if there was another way. Hopefully will get through this work and be able to get to it soon. 🙄

+1 for Bikevillage went a couple of years ago early June, no lifts but had a great time, lots of singletrack, food, booze, good company.

I'll give that a try, but doesn't look to be that much room for maneuver. Spoon's the new one, 2010, and seems quite low profile

I'm on my third Alfa and second 156, never had any more trouble with them than any other car I've owned and a damned sight more fun to drive than most things.

I got rid of my saloon because I could only fit one bike in and that was on the back seat, wheels in the boot. Sportwagon now, lovely to drive and practical. all cars have problems. 🙄

+1 for some grease and loving the click

It's there to let you know it needs a service 😆

I swapped lowers and front wheel on my Floats, massive difference. Well worth the money IMHO

It just begs the question, why?

Nice piece of engineering, but a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

The worry is always damaging the valve.

It's difficult, but I have succeeded by pulling them apart first then giving the valve a sharp tap whilst keeping the pressure up. If you see what I mean, but you will need an extra hand, or hook the crown round a large object.

Just did a mates Revs and I think they are the same. Yes, if you've let the air out of both chambers the valve should come loose with a reasonable tap, it doesn't disappear, just gets loose.

People still seem to want to drink plenty of good quality real ale, so we're doing fine.

Do notice that lunches are quieter due to half empty offices though. They seem to be staying in business with less staff.

Yes,I get it too sometimes. I've just been giving it a little bit more of a clean and a drop of lube, that reduces the problem but doesn't eliminate it.

Got to say the music's not terribly original, but I do like that she's having fun and not getting messed up, as some more 'serious' musicians do.

It's only pop, it's not meant to be serious, honest Bono 😆

Any car with a roof rack. Get the car that suits and a rack for the bike.

So many things in the time I've been riding.

In time order, suspension fork, Disc brakes, decent lights, FS, Tubeless, QR15, most recent my new Joplin seatpost, long live progress 😆

Looking like home made burgers with horseradish sauce ala Hugh FW.

or Tuesdays home made chili with jacket spud. Decisions, decisions.

    Hungry now! 😆

Copper on your own house, plastic on someone else's!

    😀

Certainly if you don't like them much.

Plastic is easy and you can take it apart if you get it wrong. With copper you get nice straight runs solid joins and for the little bits that do show it just looks so much better.

Hell of a draft under the floor, which is why I wondered about at least restricting the vents. I was worried about damp though.

I think under floor insulation is the way forward, though selling may be easier.

    Thanks for comments though

40-60hours a week working, so no time for any other hobbies.

In fact worked so much over Xmas that I have been unable to get out on the bike for a month. Thankfully that's all changed 😀

Porsche isn't that a VW Beetle that's been stood on and 'cos your cocks so small you pay more for it too!

Nothing wrong with getting the car sideways in this weather it's great in the right place and with a decent car. Use the handbrake and a quick flick of the steering in a FWD car. "ducking now" 😀

I think Easter is my favourite festival. Lots of chocolate and dry trails to burn it off on. 😆

FWIW I'm fed up with winter already, must be getting old!

Can't abide riding canal paths, they really do attract nutters and/ or unstable members of the general public.

Until you can get everybody to feel that they have a valued place in society then crime will continue and I agree that no punishment will be severe enough to deter societies disenfranchised from crime of any sort.

Having said that, I still feel the compulsion to see criminals feel my/societies 'vengeance' for their crimes. Though I know it is neither deterrent or productive.

Truly love my EX8, thoroughly enjoy all 5inches of travel. Swapped the fork lowers for QR15 which stiffened the front end considerably. Either would be a great buy IMHO

Both have different appeals and problems.
I tend to push hard solo just because no one pushes me harder than me.
Try to do at least one of each every week, however work keeps getting in the way at this time of year. Bah, humbug 😕

Yep,no reason not to far as I can see. As has been said they'll be no use to me and I think if they're all usable then you could change over 20 peoples lives when you're done. Just make sure you inform your next of kin.

Andy Pruitt's medical guide for cyclists and Pilates. I cannot believe the difference in my back pain since starting about 3 months ago, get a good teacher in a small class.

Injured my back 30yrs ago lifting gearboxes as a mechanic, followed by a motorbike and then a car accident.

Usually starts with a lift and then aggravated by long climbs, I am now painfree most of the time and improving 😀

FWIW Russel Brand is Sh%te on the radio, Richard Bacon worse! as is Moyles and anyone else who talks at all, about anything except music, on a music station obviously.

    DAB is the way forward.

Very disappointed in 6music becoming more about talking rubbish than music!

Once you've put a name to it targeting the response/ attack becomes easier. We're all here to support in whatever way. Do not be afraid to ask if there is something I/we can do that will help.

'88 911? hardly worth all that effort, there's plenty of real cars for a lot less money.

You/we all, spend an inordinate amount of time working to live whatever you do, you will not enjoy 100% of it, but you must enjoy your work most of the time.
How about a sports degree? I've coached Kids, young adults and special needs kids, all of which is fun and fulfilling while sharing my passion.

Hmmm, seems a spurious connection with that many parts changed. If you really need to pursue this I would ask questions before the baseball bat massage.
